Handebol menos, mas ainda é do também. Em geral, o esporte brasileiro não tem incentivo do governo. Começa a notar que em outros países esporte está na categoria de ESPORTES. Aqui no Brasil esporte está na categoria de lazer... Simplesmente temos os melhores atletas, mas infelizmente em muitos casos não dá pra fazer milagre sem investimento

actually, there was an interview with him and he was asked why did he choose to stick with futsal when he could have made a career in football and his answer was that he likes to touch the ball as much as possible and on the big pitch it could be 10 15 or more minutes without the ball ever being in his possession and that took out the fun out of the game for him

Falcao: "Listen to what the coach teaches you, but dont neglect your technique". This goes out to all those kids, that are good dribblers but have their coaches getting mad at them for it. Your coach will always tell you "pass and move, dont dribble!", and whenever he says that follow it yes but when you feel theres a moment to make an outburst of skill and technique, think about the fact how Pele, Maradona, Messi, or Ronaldo are the best because they are standout individual players. Just Do It!

football and futsal are two VERY different sports,it isn't that one is the evolution of the other,that's why he doesn't play football,or baseball,or tennis,he just plays futsal,that is his sport, and he's the best at it! :)

now hes kinda old but when younger he decided to try it and went to sao paulo but the coacher thought he wasnt a good choice and ignored him so he got angry being on bench all the time and decided to go back to futsal where he already was a legend.

Falcão foi muito bem no campo grande, o problema foi o seu treinador na época que é conhecido no Brasil por perseguir certos jogadores(Treinador Emerson Leão). Esse mesmo treinador não deu oportunidades ao Falcão que acabou desiludido e voltou ao futsal.
