Love these videos you are just calm when fishing but also being very professional. But I also feel so comfortable when watching these great videos and learn so much. So thank you.

One of the best vids I've seen for some time. Never thought about different floats for different situations, though I've always gone to go as light as possible and move up with size depending on conditions. The section re bomb and pellet helps a lot. Thanks chaps.

Really great vid-joe and mick! as the comment before would be good if you could do a short video of how you set up the shotting attachment-I use a very similar set-up but find I get a lot tangles around the pellet waggler it self, maybe i'am casting wrong- but as I say excellent video cheers-

Hi Joe, have to say another fantastic video. Been out today and used you're paste and had a fantastic session at Hayfield. Biggest was a 16lb common. So thank you for all the information you share in you're videos. Very much appreciated.

Great video! I have had great success fishing a pellet wafter as an alternative to a pellet. Sinks much slower and seems to fool more carp when they are up in the water, it "fishes" for a bit longer each cast. 👍

Another cracking vid Joe. I went on Loco the other day before viewing this and had a cracking day on the pellet waggler. Will take these tips on my next visit. Off to the tackle shop now for more floats. Big big thing for me was setting the clutch quite slack otherwise got snapped off... Cheers

I bought a complete new pellet waggler setup for this season. My last setup was too heavy. I went for a lightweight Nytro Aryzon 10ft pellet waggler and a Fox Rage Warrior 3500 reel. I am using lighter line with the new Matrix 3gram wagglers. Line is 0.17mm Guru pole line. Size 16 B911 hooks on 0.13 and 0.14 banded hooklengths. I have gone as light as I can. I have had some success, but this method is venue specific. It does not work on all commercials. It is good for the odd few fish , but it will not produce big weights anymore. Best catches have come from specimen Carp lakes where the fish have not wised up to this method.
@NuFish
@NuFish 2 месяца назад
It definitely works best on open style lakes with a bit of depth to them

@philocn
@philocn 2 месяца назад
you mentioned, in an off hand comment, that you would like to fish a 2x4 stick float on rivers, but a 2g float is now the norm etc...... do you think finesse now is immaterial ? i am brought up on canals and rivers, some stillwaters, but fishing these days seems more gung ho? hhe great video lads
@NuFish
@NuFish 2 месяца назад
Not at all. But on the river you need to boss the river at times and we should be afraid to use extra weight to get the presentation particularly in wind 👍🏻
@Asdf99972
@Asdf99972 2 месяца назад
Would you use the Matrix pellet waggler weights on the Drennan Mugglers which means the weight is directly under the float or would it be best with a weight either side like you have done? Probably overthinking this but wasn’t sure if it would make a difference with the float diving/entering the water
@NuFish
@NuFish 2 месяца назад
I haven't tried them so not too sure. I do think having a weight either side softens the landing slightly. but if it makes a difference is up for debate!
@Asdf99972
@Asdf99972 2 месяца назад
I’ve seen your vid where you add colouring etc and bake the pellets to make them red, but not got the time for that 🤣 best out of the bag red pellets in your experience?

Is it ok to use a heavier hook length than main line???
@NuFish
@NuFish 2 месяца назад
Yes, the shorter hooklength had less stretch so will still break first
@daverivers339
@daverivers339 2 месяца назад
whats the difference between a feeder and wagler rod??
@NuFish
@NuFish 2 месяца назад
Feeder rods have fine quiver tips for bite detection while a Waggler rod has no tips and is a touch stiffer to allow you to strike and cast light floats
@daverivers339
@daverivers339 2 месяца назад
@@NuFish could you use a feeder rod without the quiver in as I don't have a wagler rod

Imagine taking the boss fishing and only letting him fish for 10 minutes. Harsh. They're going to ask.....can you show how you create the float attachment and add the shot to the foam and crystal unloaded floats, so that they become loaded and are eaasier to clip on and off? Please and thanks.
