I'm glad you enjoyed my mod! It is great to hear feedback on it. One thing that won't be obivious if you don't have Pokemon knowledge is that Rotom has multiple forms, so if you pick Rotom as pet you aren't neccessarily stuck with him just triggering clunkers.

So just as a bit of explanation, Eevee is well known for evolving into a bunch of different Pokémon. In Pokefrost, they represent this by having Eevee evolve into different Eeveloutions based on what charm is attached. I can say as a fact that they’ve changed what some of the charms cause it to evolve into. Taunt charm used to evolve it into a different Pokémon

This mod feels way more exciting to watch than snowfall... Feels like a full DLC addon that enhances wild frost instead of trying to be a whole different game.

I have been waiting for so long for you to try this mod out. And I REALLY REALLY like the fact that your Pokémon knowledge is limited so you can approach the mod somewhat unbiased.

Empoleon kabonker true combo. Kabonker hits the randomly snowed dude nad unfreezes your man earlier. The combo.

I really want to know what Vaporeon would have evolved into... I'm guessing since it had voltorbs text and evolve condition it would have evolved into electrode, but part of me wonders if it just would've crashed the game. Shademancer's has my favorite pokemon combo.

This mod seems pretty sick. It looks like there are a lot of Pokémon you could build a run around to do some wacky shit.

I think Companion Limit +1 Bbell should also give you a 'Companion Crown' - a crown only applicable on companions and not items.

Man I found this much more interesting enjoyable to watch (as a game at least) than the Snowfall mod. Pokémon or not I just think this mod is more interesting with its mechanics.

31:15 small correction on the math, its a 4/9, around 45% to kill one of the guys there. To kill a guy you need to hit it twice, but the ooba bear applies snow, so only one of the front guys. Second thing to note is that this tenticle applies ink, the second hit will hit guaranteed. The possible combination of killing an enemy is also 1/3 (first hit tenticle) + 1/3*1/3 (double hit octako) = 4/9 or around 45% to kill an enemy

okay this mod looks super neat, and I will definitely have to check it out myself! current impression is it might end up being a bit overtuned vs baseline, but it looks much more like an expansion of the game I already like playing than the wild deviation in snowfall very amused by everything about your baseline pokemon knowledge and opinions; if you ever want to explore the wonderful world of hyper-complicated rock paper scissors without needing to commit to owning/downloading a game and playing through all the rpg stuff you could try out pokerogue, a fangame that turns it into a gauntlet roguelike (note that it kind of throws everything at you that ever existed, assumes a certain amount of baseline knowledge, and will quickly move to kick your teeth in until you get used to the loop, but as someone who hasn't played the last two gens and hasn't really loved a mainline game since the ds, it's really solid and a fun way to try out everything I've missed)

pokemon is one of my fave game franchises! i agree with you, i think the gameplay loop of pokemon is a bit mundane, however it's actually about collecting for alot of ppl that like it. If you like collecting/hunting for things, or having digital pets(with the modern games) that's the appeal.

As a pokemon nerd. The games are incredibly grindy. This is why a large percentage of the community have taken to using a free level up item for nuzlocke runs(nuzlocke being a self imposed rule set to make these children's games harder). So yeah not entirely wrong about your opinions.

Eevee has alot of different evolutions I can list them in a replie if youd like sir im a pokemon player so i know all the evolutions

ive played like every pokemon game and was obsessed with it in middle school and most of the designs of the pokemon in this mod are infinitely more interesting than anything to do with the pokemon in game lol the pokemon games are comically bad in so many ways

This mod is really hard too. I wouldn't put it on the same level as the other one, but it's rediculous. There are some really good pokemon in it, and others that are extremely questionable as to why they are such trash. Not that they have to be good but, a little less bad would be nice. Also i wish i would stop running into full battle charm boards, it's almost impossible. Like why are there 2 13/6 jab joats, what am i supposed to do about that?
