@emergencyawesome I love love this series. They did such a great job. I only wonder if the show will use the therapist/psychologist bf to kill Sophie vs Two Face. Kinda like a Daenerys/Jon Snow moment. Maybe a kill/suicide moment between the two. He cares about her but he doesn't want her becoming worse than her father Carmine. Just another theory.

Matt Reeves himself did say that he would love to do Mr Freeze. I also wish that Mr. Freeze would make an appearance as the main antagonist for The Batman 2. He can be used in a very horror type villain, making the movie itself semi-horror, while still being the thriller, detective-noir we all love.

Sofia also gave Viti the mobster kiss of death right before she kills him. Also I love how the purpose of this show seems to be to wipe out all of Gotham’s normal criminals to make way for the more iconic Batman villains later down the line.

I'm genuinely hoping some of the side guys go the distance and wind up mixing it up with Bats in the next movie, as kinda a nod to their elevation for making it through wild sh- with Penguin. I mean heck, that's a fun story to tell your kids and grandkids: you threw hands with Batman. 😂

Here's every thing comic book victor Zsasz related that Victor Aguilar might checks out for (either directly , or as a plausible reimagining) so far (the 4th one being the most important imo): 1) UPBRINGING:Zsasz grew up relatively well adjusted in a (rich) loving family that he lost in a boating accident during his 20s. Aguilar grew up in a (poor) loving family that he lost to a flood in his late teens. 2) COMMITMENT TO FINISHING THE JOB: A common Zsasz trope is that once he commits to kiling someone (solidified by him carving a tally scar into his skin) he HAS to follow through no matter what. While Aguilar isn't going around killing people just yet , learning this "commitment" to following through has been a big part of his mentor-mentee relationship with Os. Plus he seems to be getting more comfortable with commiting to more violent tasks (Episode 1 had him hesitantly dismembering alberto's body , episode 3 had him crashing a car into gangsters to save Os, episode 5 has him itching to join Os as a soldier in the gang war). 3) SEEING RED: Victor Zsasz is often described as seeing the world differently ( everything is blood red , having hallucinations that people he is interacting already have fatal wounds inflicted upon them). Perhaps if Aguilar takes a significant dose of bliss later in the season he could start to suffer from something similar (a lot of red imagery is used with bliss plus we saw him alresdy suffering from severe PTSD related to the riddler bombings. A mental state that might not mix well with a very heavy dose of a hallucinogen). 4) PENGUIN'S ROLE IN ZSASZ'S ORIGINS: Penguin is actually pretty closely tied to Victor Zsasz's descent into madness. Zsasz loses all of his remaining finances to Oswald while gambling which causes him to see his own life (and by extension all life) as meaningless , hence he begins seeing killing as almost a favour to his victims. I think for the Penguin TV show this could be reimagined as Victor losing his morality and innocence as he's dragged deeper into a life of violence by Os. If after all that Penguin betrays him , that could be the thing that (along with the bliss drug) pushes victor's psyche over the edge.

This show just continues to make fans jump on the edge of their seat and honestly, this might be the best DC live action show we’ve gone in such a long time. I am so excited for what the next few episodes is going to be and Matt Reeves is really done an incredible job with how he made the show , but Colin Farrell is truly the MVP of it all.

It’s amazing how much better these shows are when they get away from the steroids, tights and CG. The vibe reminds me of the Daredevil family Netflix shows that were so gritty but were missing the real world violence part a lot of the time until Frank Castle showed up. The street level shows are often the best!

Vic might get caught and tortured for the location of the Bliss they cut him up and Oz saves him. Being tortured could mess him up enough to become Zsasz. Sophia's mistake is forgetting to deal with the Triads. She made damn sure they knew she was in charge of the Bliss. Oz is going to use them against her blaming her for the double cross. Oz knows Gotham. Sophia knows the past.

I like how you mentioned Viti's attempt to win over Sofia by talking about her mother. It came after Oz sent Vic to save his mum. But thats always why ive loved these new versions of Batman. They show human beings doing monstrous things. Not everyone is a psychopath or ends up in Arkham. Many are people who have love and responsibilities for people who they then make a choice to leave to the bears if it allows them to get away or get ahead xxx

when they crashed the Ghibli i was like 'they can probably afford to do that every single episode!' ... as those cars aren't worth anything. i thought they were suspiciously cheap for a 400hp AWD car but then researched it more... oof. also the mom not smelling her gas-soaked son was a bit of a stretch. who cares if mouth is taped and he can't tell her? once he gets close enough it would be obvious it wasn't water. (there were gas cans seen as he is pulled out of the vehicle so presumably is was petrol and not some non-smelling flammable fluid. 🤷‍♂)

so these are the names of the last 3 episodes and my guess or umm insight? on the names episode 6 gold summit What I'm guessing this title refers to is how close he is to his goal his dream his everything all that he's dreamt of is right there he's nearly there he can almost feel it even episode 7 top hat I feel that he may become the "boss" in this episode at the very end episode 8 Great or Little Thing so this name is a line from a poem The Ballad of Reading Gaol by Oscar Wilde "And I and all the souls in pain, Who tramped the other ring, Forgot if we ourselves had done. A great or little thing, And watched with gaze of dull amaze. I wish Sofia is the one who gets to pull the trigger (or should I say lighter) on OZ's mother, since he's taken her through a lot and took the life of her most beloved person. It would be a really satisfying revenge. Penguin deserves it!
