WBD is very selfish. James Gunn took Matt Reeves' Arkham show and killed it, now, Penguin might be the only spin off show of the "The Batman" saga when more villains were supposed to get stories, and Batman reportedly isn't even showing in This Penguin show. I'm certain WBD has something to do with that. Same reason Gunn cut Superman out of the Flash movie... He doesn't want people to have any other idea of whobthese characters can be other than his interpretation (probably comedic, one dimensional "generic good guy" characters). Now, what was once a universe filled with potential, is three movies (if Gunn and WBD still allow him to make part three of The Batman) and one series. What a shame that when WBD and DC studios came in, a lot of things went sideways.
