I understand her and she is right but also a person has to want to strive for better. You can't just sit around if your city or situation is bad. It's not easy but if you want then you won't wait for anybody to do it for you.

There are three colleges across the streets from where she lives and I am sure they could attend for free. Also, saying she understands why the young boys rob and steal is idiotic. Also, everyone in leadership looks just like her. Our people need the desire to get of the government payroll and go to work.

Update the water pipes in Jackson ms. The water infrastructure was built in 1888. The water is going to ms red clay to all the homes in Jackson Ms. No companies wants to come to Jackson Ms bc the water is fu.
It's not just water, look at the crime rate. Who wants to come to open a business in a place where customers don't feel safe? Why would a company choose Jackson with all of its problems, when they can go to Rankin or Madison County and not deal with those issues? It's a no-brainer which location somebody would choose
Also, companies have to want to come to invest and build in Jackson. The Mayor, City council, etc just can't force companies and jobs here. Everybody blames the leadership but nobody from the outside is trying to come and invest in Jackson

The other color does very well there and the surrounding areas. I see the rental prices are tremendous high for no reason when there is no real economic development in the area.
Well, why do white folks have success in those areas ?. Because they find careers they've trained for !!! You don't go anywhere working retail or fast food jobs, those aren't careers those were never meant never to support a family, those are jobs for students any way !!!!😮
