I've heard religious people who criticize Hillsong United/Worship/Young and Free for getting people all hyped up. I just say, as compared to what?? How we get all hyped up over the news, sports, movies and secular stuff that steals our time, energy and affections? Ha! I would MUCH rather get all hyped up over JESUS CHRIST, my loving savior and best friend!!! This is awesome. It's just wonderful.
I was on tour with an artist by the name of Woodkid at this time. We were on a two day break in NYC. I had believed that Jesus had interceded through God to save me from my addiction to drugs and alcohol, but I never really understood the LOVE. My friend who lives in White Plains had tickets to this show and his wife couldn’t go because their daughter had come down with a virus at the time. So, I thought why not? Never heard of them or any of their songs. I wasn’t prepared. I’m still taken aback when I listen to them and I still listen to one of their albums EVERY SINGLE DAY!! This night changed my life FOREVER! I left this night with a new awareness of what LOVE really is. Not my version, but His. Not my time, but His. I now have my own little group that plays at our local church. I still play secular music because it pays the bills, but this music RIGHT HERE has restored me and it will forever hold the highest place in my daily life. That’s what this night represents to me. No apologies. This is a great testimony. It’s amazing how God picked each one us from nowhere and made us His own. This story could bring salvation to someone else, please keep sharing. And never look back. God has a purpose for your life . He’s just getting started with you, like He is for all of us😊

I went to the show in Alabama. Have seen Hillsong United twice now. It is amazing to see so many different people in there worshipping. Whenever I go to concerts like this I feel like it is as close to the feeling of heaven as I can experience on earth. Being in unison with everyone worshipping.... unity and love all around. Joyful and peaceful feeling. Praise God!!!! 🙌🏻
I would go through dark depression symptoms. The first thing I'd do is grab the bible and held it on my chest and pray. The pain would automatically be gone, God is my medicine.

Pray for me, I just accepted Jesus, surely it will come to me with a lot of difficulty, and then I will need strength, but my strength comes from God, I ask the brothers to pray for me, so I don't get discouraged on the walk
I find it hard to believe there are those who criticize this music. This is a concert about the Rock we tie our boat to. The Rock we build our lives on. We the Kingdom did a wonderful song, Holy Water and they redid it with Tasha Cobbs Leonard in a church with Maverick City as the choir. Same song but more of an anointing and worship feel. To each their own. We can only counsel others and pray for others. Amen...saw the Hillsong film a few years back and I had tears running down my face. The anointing was powerful and for sure, not of the enemy
That night in MSG was unforgettable. Every thing was spectacular, but when we sang Behold... wow.... I felt the presence of God right there with us, I couldn't take pictures anymore, I wasn't looking at the band, I was just worshipping with everything I had, my soul, my heart crying out and connecting with our Heavenly Father. I've heard Hillsong music for a long time, but this was the first live United concert, and we were in the first row. What struck me the most, is how genuine these people are, they are humans, they are vessels, and their mission that night was to connect us with our Creator, and mission accomplished!
You're blessed you were able to experience it live. I can feel the crowd through my phone screen. I saw them in Dallas and it was wonderful- but this particular concert seems like everyone was just wrapped up in worship and not caring what was around them.

This group has a special place in my heart. I'm 62 and was saved 4 years ago. Music has played a big role in my time with God every day, and when I listened to the first songs from this band during COVID, the Spirit sent a fresh, clean breath in me and this is the best I've seen of them thus far, and I was a hard follower of Dirt and Grace. Highlands (Song of Ascent) has blessed me so much. I've been singing this song in my happiest, and even in my lowest days. It is a reminder, as well as a declaration. And I know very well that it played a part on how I was able to survive my lowest days.

Praise God the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit is upon this band as they sing out from their heart to God and offer their voices to Him. God was glorified He was honored and they were able to use by God to minister and reach out to this crowds through their spiritual songs. Praise God for the testimony of Taya with her encounter with God ( Jesus ) indeed God is the restorer of everything for He has the power to make the heart whole again that is how much God loved each and every single one of us no matter what sin you did as you stand high in surrender it all to Him. He is always ready to forgive, heal, and received us to be reconciled with Him for it is His will and purpose that it will be done in our lives through the Lord Jesus Christ, our Almighty God the maker of heaven and earth to Him all the praises and glory on earth as it is in heaven.
