What a fantastic video! I had the privilege of spending many years during my 20’s in Japan while serving in the U.S. Navy in the 1990’s. From Atsugi near Yokohama to Iwakuni and Okinawa. Of all the countries I’ve visited Japan and its people will always be in my heart. 🇯🇵
Thank you for working in Japan. My husband is an Air Self-Defense Force officer. Protecting the country is a tough job, but I think it's an important job.
I absolutely love Tokyo....my fav city in the world too. The vibe, the atmosphere, the food, the variety, shopping, bars, night-life...and more. Your video makes me so want to get back there soon. Great suggestions and overall recommendations to this incredible destination ❤
Hello Alina, Hope you are Well. Want to mention , Thank you for the postcard from Kyoto. We received it today. No doubt about it. Tokyo is a first-class city like no other. Harriet and I have been many times. In Fact , Harriet's sister just got back from Japan after being there for a month. We have booked our trip for September. It never gets old. Spot on with this video❤❤❤ Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Sending you much love💞💞💞 Dear Friend ! from Harriet, Jim and Yuki Richmond, Va.
Hello Alina! 😁🙏👋🌟 I hope your having a marvelous day! This is absolutely a wonderful super excellent fantastic video! 😄👍❤️👏🇯🇵⛩🗼🍱🥢🥇💯💫✨🌟 The city of Tokyo looks so truly amazing! The Senso Ji Temple and the view of the city from Shibuya Sky looks really magnificent! Also the Zakuro Show is truly wonderful! The music performers did a excellent job! Even the food from the Toritake restaurant looks delicious! I would definitely like to visit the city of Tokyo one day. It is really a beautiful city! Thank you so very much Alina to share with us this excellent magnificent video. You are the best and greatest world traveler adventurer ever! 🙂👍👏✈️🌎📹🥇💯🏆💫🌟 I wish you Alina a wonderful marvelous fantastic blessed day. 😊🙏❤️👋👍✨🌟
ALINA........!!!!!!!!!!☺👋👋👋 Earlier I could only think of traveling to South Korea before going elsewhere in Asia but now after watching a series of your videos I think I have fallen in love with Japan too.....☺☺☺ Thank you....Alina...!!!😊
Beautiful tour of Tokyo! I enjoyed the visit to the Buddhist Temple, I visited one near Vancouver recently - they are such special places. Happy travels, Alina! 👍👍
OK, well this video just made my soul ache, but at the same time, equally, being really entertaining. Your walk through of these Tokyo districts is as close as one can get to a perfect day in a city. The Zakura Show is something I definitely would want see and experience at least once, as I've never seen or heard this style of music live in Japan. As an aside I did stumble across a couple of ladies playing koto's in the atrium of the butterfly house at the Calgary zoo. They were dressed in traditional garb, and I unfortunately can't remember if they were from Calgary or Lethbridge. My friends literally dragged me away, because they were so musically skilled I'd have stayed until they packed up to leave. If you're in need of fix while visiting your mom, I'm sure you could find where they're performing, since you are far better researcher than I am. Needless to say I enjoyed this video, thanks for making me envious beyond belief.
Hokkaido, Niigata, Kanazawa, Sendai and Yamagata are great destinations for your Japan. Yamagata Ginzan Onsen is very rural, but it has the atmosphere of going back in time to the Taisho era.
Excellent video Alina, Tokyo is a great city! Your Japan vlogs are making me super nostalgic! I left in 2005 and have lived all over Canada since, the last 3 years in your home province. Tokyo seems like another planet from small town Sask life😂
Since long time I have been watching your wonderful blogs from India. I understood your blog is absolutely different from other bloggers. I Love your way of shooting styles and way of presentation. I wish your prosperity, peace and tranquility ❤ 🙏
Hi Alina, Thank You for sharing this stunning experience! I am a little bit jealous 🙂 because I missed the observatory of shibuya sky. Best regards, Ralf
Alina, I can't believe it, 48 hours ago, with my son we were there, the Temple, the Shibuya crossing, the Skytree, and at the end of the day my favorite "Hard Rock Cafe" Now we are in Kobe, Rokko Island.
Thank you, Alina, for sharing your positive vibe from Tokyo. I've been feeling a bit nostalgic about Tokyo, so this video makes me feel like I was there:)
Thank You, Alina! Tokyo is an amazing city! You have created an amazing overview video, with fabulous content! I love your passion for Tokyo! This truly your second home!
Just an absolutely awesome video Alina. Thoroughly enjoyed the variety of sights and sounds that you showed us in the different Districts. Thank you for bringing this awesome tour video to us!
I agree with you and comments below : Tokyo is a fantastic place to be. I love it 99 % 1 % is being in a big train station diring rush hours. Pure hell ! Great parks in Tokyo, the imperial palace, wonderful temples, beautiful museums, a shoppers' paradise, a subway network that takes you everywhere... and the food OMG 😍

Hoi, Alina, super interesting work. Feels like a flashback. Been to Tokyo also, you know, in and out of Narita and Haneda. Well done and Greetings, Markus
Fantastic video. So much to see and do when I am there. Crowds have certainly come back since the restrictions where dropped. Unfortunately for me the days that I will be there are weekends and when it will be busy.
Love this video!! Planning to go to Tokyo in August actually! I noticed that you went to Shibuya Sky, not Tokyo Sky Tree. Shibuya Sky is actually a newer viewpoint than the Sky Tree and they are in totally different areas - Sky Tree is waaaay over in Sumida! Can't wait to go myself!!
Hi Alina. Really love your vids. We too love Tokyo and Japan as a whole. One thing that we were amazed by was the variety, quality and price of the food in Konbinis, Lawson, Family Mart and Seven Eleven. It would be great to maybe see you do a review of these. Japan cops a lot of negativity due to being too expensive but it can be quite cheap to eat by going to Kombini’s and Izakayas. Eat where the locals eat.
I love ur comments re: Japan l've been in that place 4 so many times. Will B back again hopefully this Oct. N thereabouts. D Japanese Govt should recognize u 4ur wonderful n accurate n natural greatness of Japan in general N..d prople in particular
I also was at Shibuya in November 2022 and and made the same walk on the other side and back like you did. I have a couple of videos from there. Nice to know more from your video!
8:32 that building looks just like the Flat Iron building in NYC! "Ginkle Berries" 😂 sounds like "Dingle Berries" 😂 Lovely video Alina! Streets there are packed! Chicken looked good!
I may have to say you like this , what a crazy nice video you could make . yes, it is showing us the raial our country:s normal life style very much, aftre I finished to watching your video , my heart is getting to become more happy and , this vide has some thing very good situation, it is like the mental medicine for our mental to stable very well. anyway, I liked to watch this video with listening nice music. I am loooking forward to watch your new video again. see you next one ,please by a your video`s fun in Tokyo.
I just realized the UK is not as heavily populated as I thought. Japan looks a very impressive country and a good experience for the experienced traveller but there seems so little writing in English so I would find it rather alienating and challenging.
Such an amazing video💘 Most beeauuutiiifuuuul City Tokyo🔴 Sooooo Wonderful💕💖 Alina Ur Superb gorgeous🌷great Personalty for a youtuber📸📽👌💞 Love your Vlogs❤💯
Thank you for visiting my country. But, please allow me to correct one point in this video. In caption 11:50 "Very few people know how to play these traditional instruments anymore", but it's not correct. Those big strings are KOTO, and flute type instruments are SHAKUHACHI. They are one of the most popular Wagakki(=Japanese traditonal instruments). So, if you want to play those instruments, you can learn how to play them from the next day(or this evening). There are a lot of lesson classes. And There are so many Wagakki clubs in junior high, and high schools.
Hey Alina, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I loved your videos. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and also make highly engaging shorts for you?
I kind of prefer non-tourist towns like Monzen-nakacho, Tsukishima and Kameido. The only exception is Ginza (but I just go because I want to buy work clothes from Motoki Ginza).
Hi Alina ❤🥰😘😍💋excellent video Tokyo japan is great city seems like another planet from town you have created an amazing overview video Hi my name is Orel I’m autistic incredible perfect
I enjoyed the highlights - the Shibuya observatory with its bird-eye view of Tokyo stood out and the Shinbuya Crossing. You couldn’t show us everything in a short video about the city and hopefully people will also be drawn to what wasn’t shown here. You can’t see everything the first time you visit a foreign country and when you do visit one again in the future, you will discover sights and things you haven’t seen before. A tourist never sees everything on their bucket list. A pity our human life is short to the point most of us will have to be content with the road more traveled although I personally think taking the road less traveled would make all the difference, indeed.
Alina, how do you go about choosing which snippets of music to use and where do you find them? I'm into my third and final week in Japan, arrived in Tokyo 48 hours ago and went exploring around Shinjuku. My hotel is right next to where the big sumo event is taking place, unfortunately all tickets are sold. Great video as always.
Thank you! I usually take quite a while to browse Epidemic Sound to pick out music. It's a royalty free music subscription so I can use the tracks for commercial purposes.
Thanks for sharing the beautiful videos. May I ask, what is the action camera you using? I am going Tokyo this November and would like to capture beautiful videos like yours.
Could you post the link to the traditional musical instruments performance venue please? I couldn’t find it in this rather long comments section. Thank you for sharing, Alina.
