It takes a lot of discipline to keep it to 3 beautiful and iconic pieces, and not accumulating all kinds of crap like the rest of us. Congratulations! Did you send this to Archie Luxury for a review? He would give you five stars! The Seamster is more beautiful than a Submariner in my opinion.
Scrolling social media daily and looking at watches definitely puts a test to that discipline 😂 I just have a tendency of saving up no matter how long it took to buy the watch I really want instead of having filler watches. I have not! But I will see to it and hope he approves haha. Thank you for your comment and yes, this particular Seamaster is beautiful and exciting with the ceramic dial.
Superb and beautiful collection! My heart stopped for a moment when you said that the white SMP was going to leave! But that was such a sweet gesture giving it to your Dad - in place of your Bond 60th anniversary SMP! Nice! Cant wait to see what are you replacing the Moonwatch with! I wld guess that you are going for the Snoopy! My personal opinion. Dont swap the SMP (or Moonwatch) for any Rolex pieces! Add the Rolex as the 4th piece in the line up! Try to hunt for a GMT-Master II, as that is probably the one mainstream (daily usable) complication missing in the line up for now. And Rolex do make the best GMTs, with no equals.
Good to know you follow my IG! But shhh don't say it too loud and spoil it for everyone on here 😉 I don't think I'll ever be able to get rid of the white SMP because it holds a tremendous sentimental value to me. The Moonwatch replacement will definitely be a big movement upgrade! I agree, Rolex GMTs are unmatched and iconic. One day I hope! Thank you as always for the comment.
Nice collection especially the Reverso. My only reverso is the duoface though i have one ultrathin Marche de reserve and a titanium worldtimer with chronograph from JLC. Your maroon Reverso is stunning. A pity that the brand did not have a duoface maroon dial. Congratulation on your watch collection.
@@adriakmelani I can only dream to have as many JLC as you do! I specifically chose a monoface because of its proportions and size. I think most of the Reversos with complications are a little too big for my liking.
Honestly this is my Dream 3 Watch Collection as well, for my Dream 6 Watch Collection I would add the Casio G-Shock Full Metal version, a Zenyth Type 20 Extra Special Pilot Watch and a fun watch - Christopher Ward C1 Bel Canto. That would be my Perfect 6 Watch Collection. Hopefully I can get it some day. ;) Also if Jeager-Le Coultre would be too expensive for me I would buy the TISSOT PRX POWERMATIC 80. Btw Great video. I really enjoy watching your videos. You honestly got me in to watches (also with Nico Leonard). ;)
Thank you for the long write up and the kind words! It means alot. This watch collection as well as the 6 watch collection you mentioned is definitely achievable. Just take your time and enjoy the journey my friend.
I have a four watch collection (so far!). A Speedmaster Reduced white dial, which was my only watch for 30 years. A blue dial 39.5mm Planet Ocean which I got because I wanted a blue dial sporty watch. A 38mm dial Aqua Terra for a dressier everyday watch. I went in thinking to get a black dial but came out with the blue dial because it looks so gorgeous. I renegotiated a 36mm Explorer 1 because a wanted a black dial do anything watch. I could have a two watch collection with the AT and Explorer but where’s the fun in that!
Sorry, RU-vid won’t let me edit my comment but I meant recently got not “renegotiated” an Explorer. I should also say every other watch I’d like duplicates the type of activity covered by my current watches (sport, dressy, everyday) so I’m struggling for a reason to buy a Grand Seiko or Cartier. I’m missing a GMT complication and a quartz movement so maybe the quartz GMT from Grand Seiko is the answer.
I probably should to counterbalance all the Omega. If the rumours are true and Rolex come out with a black/grey dial GMT I’d very tempted. Just don’t have the money!
