Which drone would you recommend for epic boat chase video? I’m looking at the Bob 57 and chimera 7v2. I like the chimera because I can carry my Sony zve10 but I like the 6” because it’s more agile. I’m not sure if I need much agility for boat chase but is the chimera able to do some freestyle moves or is it strictly a cruiser?? Thanks and great channel
Nothing is more agile than a 5inch but if it’s just for chasing a 6inch is definitely the best of both world and more “powerful” than a 7. Chimera 7 is really for cruising, big long range but definitely not for high speed and tricks. And if you want to make long range with a 6inch you can use a LiIon battery. Lipo for high speed and trick and LiIon for cruising 😉
The best setup for long flight time with a GoPro is with a Li-Ion battery like I said (12-13 minutes). But you have to keep in mind that those batteries give you less punch than a Lipo and they are only for cruising 😉. If you want longer flight time with a lipo battery, just record with the O3 air unit 🤷🏻♂️
100%, I’ve recorded the « Lone Rider Ep.III » FPV shots only by using the O3 and it’s 👌🏻. The only thing that you need to be careful with the O3 is to have it nicely mounted cause if you have bad vibrations, the stabilization with GyroFlow is gonna be impossible 🤷🏻♂️ it’s a lot more sensitive than a GoPro for exemple
I think a few seconds less… I would say 30-40s less than me, depends of your batteries 🤷🏻♂️ U never tried but it’s gonna be a bit less and I don’t think it’s gonna be a huge difference.

Nazgul F6 is an excellent quad. I have silicon mounts on the O3 but still have vibrations. How to remove these vibrations, maybe someone has found a solution, advise?

I had to change the TPU mount to the silicon one and also PWM frequency cause my Evoque V2 was one of the first version. The last step of Mads Tech video is not necessary and too risky 😅. You will always have some vibrations (and it’s the case with all my FPVs, the important thing is to have as less as possible) but nothing crazy, and the most important is that when you stabilize with gyroflow it’s perfect now 🙂.
The defender series are really great 🙂. The Chimera 7 is really insane for long range but it is less versatile and also really big (in my opinion). The 6 is just 🔥 and flying 13 minutes with a Li-ion battery is enough for me 😉
