Fun fact: Yami Yugi's Millenium Puzzle canonically gives Yugi the ability to draw whatever card he wants, whenever* he wants *whenever he's losing the card game enough
@@MasterofVirology They had such a strong connection, Yugi knew Yami's whole deck, thus engineered the duel in a way where he knew the exact card Yami would think would win him the game, "Monster Reborn", and Yugi countered it by basically calling out the card he was about to use, stealing its effect. Basically top tier anime BS but honestly such a good duel.
@@MasterofVirology Rewatching the duel now, Ra is summoned after the battle phase and pretty sure due to the anime rules, Obelisk can't sacrifice the other gods. Granted they also ignored the special summoning God sickness when slifer stayed on the field but whatever rule of cool.

You know, as I watch cell summon Obelisk on the first turn, with no tributes, and attacking on the same first turn, I remember that Kaiba did the exact same thing in the show XD

Tbh yuma tops atem for bullshit. Atem is good duelist but his puzzle is 100% ex tier luck that cheats deck shuffle randomization. Yuma was legitimately terrible so was given a literal a saiyan transformation that allows him to literally cheat in a duel to beat aliens duelist. Dude out her making up utopia monsters cuz he can and can literally reprint cards in his hand to have some effect to win the duel. Who needs exodia when you can literally use numeron code to make 1 card that does just that.
@@jourdanfarquharson4697 honestly I call what Yuma can do with Astral not even a problem because there's very few opponents he faces with it can't easily match or outright counter whatever his powers let him bring out Plus him using the zexal power has a massive limitation where he can't actually just pull it out whenever he wants. He has to be in a space that is either Barian or Astral world or something similar to them like the emperor's key, sargasso and all the types of sphere fields. the Barian merged earth. And the dimension created in his duel with trey. This limitation is actually stated multiple times. Compared to that atem can use his power since day one and basically has no real limitations. So I'd call atems luck boost way more bullshit One power has hard limits on its use case scenario the other really doesn't.
I'm surprised you have not used some plant monster with tentacles to attack the dark magician girl yet, we've seen weirder things with Cell being fine losing since hes watching lol
I officially died.. Used to play this so much.. Actually played against someone who had Exodia in their deck and beat them by sheer luck.. I took out two of Exodia's pieces before they could get the last piece..
I was never that into Yu-Gi-Oh cards when I was a kid and didn't really watch the show beyond a few episodes with the Millennium Eye Arc, but it's always fun watching you guys duel.

I mean it's a complilation but it's missing my favorite one: Where Cell literally forces Yugi to play by TCG rules and hand traps him into the shadow realm. XD That one any Yugi boomer can relate to being pretty much how they felt after playing during 'The BS anything goes era' and coming back to the 'lock 'you can't play the game' era.
