Hi the lady hi cee. A lady asked you a question. Why didn’t you minus your band while taking your measurements? I’m new. what band? is she talking about the waistband??? And my question is after you drawn all the measurements on the paper don’t you have to add put some seam allowance so it will not be tight on the body? P. S. LOVE YOUR TEACHING..I AM REALLY LEARNING FROM YOU..❤

Yes she was talking about the waist band.... It's not necessary to add any seam allowance on the front panel of the pant because the seam allowance is added at the back panel....hope you watched it to the end?

you’re saying the weight. and you’re talking about the thigh which is 11 inches. Is that 1/4 of the hip if you’re using the hip measurements? I’m out here in California. We don’t use the thigh we use the hip .can you explain PLEASE ❤

I am lost. Cee did you and any seam allowance on the pattern u just made? If that is the exact size of the measurements don’t you have to add seam with the measurements or after you draft the pattern???

Hip line, how did you get the number 9?..

Let's say while measuring and your hip length was 9", then use it... Or you can go ahead to subtract 2 from the crotch length of the trouser....let's say the crotch length is 11, then 11 - 2 = 9"....you can do this for all sizes...

The seam allowance is added at the back not in front...all those 2" are the seam allowance....hope you understand?

You said something about a (quick tip)about the crotch length and hip. Could not understand what u was saying on the video at time 4:50 on video.

Quick Tip: Hip length + 2 will give you the crotch length and vice versa, crotch length minus 2 will give you the hip length....I will advise you to purchase the book for a better understanding
