Love crime deduction and have played several of these case-solving games now. Couldn't agree more that the best of them make you feel like an actual detective sifting through the evidence. Very thematic in that way. One of my daughters loved Nancy Drew as a girl and now listens to true crime podcasts, so you've convinced me this would make an excellent Christmas/birthday gift. She & I could do it together! BTW, my favorite experience in this genre so far (in case you'd like to try it) is from a British series called "Cryptic Killers" and is called "Murder of a Musician" (available on Amazon). Its difficulty level was, I think, 4.5 out of 5 stars, so it took a while to solve. We eventually got it, though, and I loved every minute!🔎
It's nice to see Hunt a Killer putting out stand alone games for people who don't want a subscription. I had a subscription, and I ended up giving them [6 boxes] to someone because it was just too much. Thank you for the review.
You should check out MWMH it is a wife and husband that does a podcast where she goes through murders and her husband (who is not a fan) listens to it for the first time with the listeners.
