The greenhouse is incredible. Keep us posted on how well the walls hold up with wind. We have such wind here that I worry about a greenhouse. Great flooring and awesome set-up!!
I’ll let you know. I’m really hopeful it does well. Our palram one stands up to the wind, but it doesn’t hold in enough heat in winter to protect the plant starts when we have a deep freeze. Hopefully this one is sealed better and works well.
I’m so excited for you guys! We are starting our tomatoes this weekend. I’m with ya on the resealable packets. What is that sound? A woodpecker? Cool. We had one around here last fall. So much work hauling that gravel in! I think it may be better that it’s not transparent, the plants have less risk of burning. You have so much room to grow. Awesome. Take care! 🌺
Ooh exciting! Are you guys growing a lot of varieties this year? I’m scaling back on the varieties this year. I think this woodpecker has lived here for a few years, every spring he is out there pecking away at the telephone pole. I hope he never moves to the house. Good point on the woven fabric. I hope it works well. We will see… I’ll share updates.
I got them at hobby lobby. They are $15 for a large case of 16 of them. They are picture cases and perfect for most seed packets. They have clear or colors so you can even organize by seed type if you want. I use the colors to organize all my seeds and the clear cases for that gardening year as I start seeds and to store them until I put everything back after seed starting season is over for spring.
We got the frame used on facebook marketplace place and we got the cover from gregerson greenhouse. It is the the 7 year warranty woven fabric. The guy that sold it said it typically lasts around 10 years though before it needs to be replaced.
