Thank you for this video. I never thought of visiting Uji. Since I will be arriving in Kyoto early morning in November, it definitely makes sense to do a 1/2 day trip before hotel check in in the afternoon...I love green tea and matcha!

Thank you for the lovely comment.🤗 If you’re also green tea lover, Uji is the perfect spot. As you said, half day is kinda enough to explore and enjoy matcha dessert. If you have a chance, please try the matcha parfait I tried in this video. It was really amazing. November will be the best season for gourmet and autumn leaves. I hope you enjoy the trip!

Thank you for asking. Unfortunately I didn’t have a enough time to visit other temples and shrines in Uji. I looked up and they seem quite nice and popular to visit in Uji.
