Why would they want to put analog sticks on a retro handheld, it defeats the purpose of being retro!

@@Gamer4FunYt with all do respect, when you go retro on a handheld analog sticks can't exist, for instance look at the analogue handheld! Not to be comparing it. But retro to me was those games that didn't require a analog to play. I mean with this one it didn't make any sense that the screen is also retro with a 1:1 ratio. I would of got it if didn't have the analog sticks. Imo analog is for 3D games but not 2D platformers or action run and gun like contra. A handheld like that is more suited for games specially because it has a vertical form factor. This handheld has the perfect screen to play games like pacman, mercs, and those vertical shooters like Capcom's 19XX.

Maybe I'm just making excuses, but I'm waiting for this exact screen/form factor but powerful enough to do Saturn/Dreamcast. I love PS1 but I think it would just make me want to play Saturn/Dreamcast which are my favorite systems ever. I don't really care about N64 but I'm sure anything that can do Saturn/DC could run N64 easily too. I prefer this display because the time gaming went widescreen is about the time I became an exclusive retro-gamer. The square display is better for classic handheld systems and classic arcade games, but it also handles the 8, 16 and 32 bit consoles well. 16:9 display is just wasted space for my tastes.

I totally get where you’re coming from! Saturn and Dreamcast are amazing systems, and it’s tough finding a handheld that can run them well. The 4:3 display really does work better for those classic systems. Fingers crossed we get a handheld soon that nails both power and screen form factor for those games!

Beautiful presentation, but you didn't even mention what sets it apart from the others, the aspect ratio. You just reviewed it as any other handheld. If someone were just looking for a device to play retro games, a 4:3 device would be what I would recommend, if that's what your main systems use. Good production on the video though.

What a fantastic handheld. I had both the Anbernic 40xx H and V and returned both for this. Best decision I ever made. This device can also play a few games of the Gamecube library. Pico-8 plays the best I have seen on a device. Just a great device all in all.

@@Gamer4FunYt I would suggest putting ArkOS on this device (best OS for this and the RGB30) and you will see a night and day difference in playing PSP and N64 games. ArkOS is amazingly optimized to play these higher demanding emu's. Just a thought :-) Great channel by the way. I just came across it.
