When I joined this server I already knew I was only going to be able to play on wipeday, so I went for a risky fast progression strategy where you try to get loaded before even getting a base down. Fortunatly that worked out and I was able to get a great start on an iceberg. I quickly tech-treed to the speargun and dominated the water near my iceberg because of it. Then I went to both oilrigs and won all my fights over there. For some reason I didn't run into big groups on the oilrigs eventhough it was a highpop competetive server, that made all my fights very winnable. Just before my wipeday ended I was able to upgrade my entire base to sheetmetal and place a lot of garage doors. I'm not sure if I got offlined the next day, but I had a lot of fun playing this wipeday.
