When starting a new world, if you want to build in mountain be careful of powder snow, it's mostly located around trees when there's snow at the top of a mountain. Lether boots to walk on it safely

Friendly advice: try and place a bit more torches when you're in a cave, the video it's quite dark without them and it's hard to see

Highly suggest getting Optifine I think it’s out for 1.18 now! Can throw torches into deep caves and it will light up the space around (I’m sure you’re aware!) the zoom will be helpful to look at mountains from a distance too. Just found your channel and I love this style of video. Just subbed :))

Shocked to see almost twice as many views as subs 🤯 c'mon people show some support! You definitely deserve at least that many subs 👌 also, in case you aren't aware, you can get iron much easier early game if you go up in the mountains instead of down in the caves, just be sure to make some leather boots in case you run into a drift of powdered snow! Same goes for calcite, but only in the warm biome mountains 🤷‍♂️ still better than only being able to get it from geodes!
