I started fasting or lose weight. I already had a 6-7 hour feeding window, so I removed all sugar, processed food, and now buy only buy organic high quality fresh food. I condensed my feeding window to 2-3 hours. I’ve lost 45 pounds, and it’s been easy. I feel great!

This doctor is magnificent and so humble. One of the most important informative videos I’ve ever watched. I discovered time restricted eating at 61 years of age. After only 5 weeks of time restricted eating 6-8 hours, I have reversed my diabetes, reduced dangerously high inflammatory, cortisol and BP levels all to normal levels as well as reversing early signs of kidney disease and lost 14 pounds as well as 16 centimetres off my waist. My doctor could not believe my blood results and said simply continue do what you’re doing. During the 5 week period I went out for 6-7 lunches dinners where I consumed a glass or two of wine and spoonfuls of dessert. I’m a chronic insomniac and my sleep HD improved - I will shoot this out from the rooftops to all - please give IF a try for both your mental and physical health.

In 4 months now I have been eating very low carb, and good protein and fat, and with a 4 hours eating window, I have lost 33 pounds and feel like 30 year old, but are heading 64 in december. I feel so healthy and happy, and I look younger than when I was 54. My grandson age 18 says I look like 50. 😆🤣 I was diagnosed with diabetes 2 in end of June, so that is why I turned my life around. My skin, nails and hair look gorgeous, specially my 80 cm long hair. Its very thick and healthy, like when I was 25- 30! I am very happy and would like for everyone to succed with their health. I am so excited to soon show my doctor what I have done. I will meet him in about 2 weeks and by that rime I will be down at least 4 pound more😆. Fasting 20 hours a day and eating healthy is just so wonderful, I wish everyone would do it. Every once in a while , like after every month, I do also 24 hours fasting or more, that is if I had cheat day for special occation, birthday or something. I will always fast the entire day or longer if I have one meal containing some carbs. And I dont even mean very sugary stuff, but may be some rice to the chicken, or next month may be 2 pieces of bread, only 1 or 2 meals, not the entire day. Everyone needs a feast sometime, its what we do 99% of the days that counts. My BMI is now 24,4, but I want it to be around 20. I remember how good I felt when my body was like that last time ....like around some 38 years ago. I can do this. So can you guys, whoever you are. God bless you and greetings from Norway.🌺🍂🍁

Thanks great as always. I’ve been doing TRE for a few years now, generally 15-16: 9:8. Works v well. V productive mornings. Meals then focused on high protein, mod healthy fat and some carbs (approx 60g) from veg and a few berries. Works well as a vegetarian. With the train journey eating to avoid eating late, I don’t think you need to compromise too much. I would go to an M&S or similar and buy a couple of plain pre-prepared salads (no dressing), some hard boiled eggs and unprocessed cheese (maybe slices ) and a small pack of almonds or walnuts. Healthy and satiating. This is my go to if I’m out and there isn’t an option to take something with me for e.g evening meal. You could perhaps find something plain with meat or fish? Hope this is helpful. 😊

I truly think it drained the swamp - and I now have a 8- 10 hour eating window. It didn't seem to matter what ideal food that I pelted at the problem, it was as if nothing was being metabolised until I did that fast.

Fasting is known for thousands of years in most religions and practiced by billions of Muslims in one month called Ramadan dry fasting according to sun rise and set (?circadian rhythm) If in the West scientists start to study fasting and circadian rhythm, they just validate what is already practiced every Monday and Thursday every week and 52 weeks in a year and one complete month even breaking one month fast depends on seeing the moon. So day 24 hours rhythm and seasonal monthly rhythm. Thank you for learning and sharing data .

As a pilot I have to wake up at 4:30 consistently. My passengers would not like to know that I’m fasting and I don’t… But I’ll typically have a protein only breakfast with black unsweetened coffee. When I’m home I’ll skip breakfast all together and sometimes lunch if I can keep myself busy, therefore my clocks must be quite unsynchronised. My only option would be to fast all together a couple days a week or to only have soups and salads in the evening…

Much relief after going through this stuff. Stress no doubt affects my blood sugar levels ru-vid.comUgkx6Cu3qDh3FB7umUbfXaU7hDAHrqvwQyNk Taking a walk usually help bring them down. Eating sweets is not my favorite, but if i take a large portion of them, my blood sugar level rises high. I think it's the high concentration of the glucose flowing into the bloodstream all at once. This is a lesson worth taking note of. This is a great material to learn from.

Thank you 🙏🏻 I’m 48 and just got diagnosed with bleeding gastric ulcer, high blood pressure and prediabetic heighten levels of sugar. All with its root cause in stress at work. I really don’t want to live on drugs for the rest of my life. Unfortunately drugs are introduced very fast in Sweden and I don’t think the ordinary medicine doctors keep up with science and got themselves informed about what else you can do to heal yourself. I even had a doctor that dissuaded me from doing yoga cause it’s “non Christian”? I don’t feel safe at all to put my health in their hands. This information is very useful for me ❤

I agree that yoga is non-Christian, actually non-monotheistic. So change the verbiage & movements slightly, simply removing the specific bowing that is used in the religious service from which yoga derives. Maybe drop the Namaste too, just say Respect or something like that. But you don’t have to drop the health & centering piece.

With all respect according to yoga your doctor is right as it is written in the bibel. The figures are made to worshipp the sun God which is against our almighty God and Jesus. I trust God more than doctors at all but in this he is right. Google it and you will find lot of informations about it instead of judging him without having the informations. Yes yoga is healthy for the body but not for your soul. Believe me I know from what I am telling you about as a christian who did Yoga in the past. Have a nice day

Your overview of high school students is pretty accurate. One thing to consider is many of them will be on their phones w social media during free time consisting of multiple hours of screen time and less exercise. This reduces sleep quality and adds to poor health.
