Interesting tidbits: 1. The MV was shot in the penthouse of Torres Blancas in Madrid, Spain. 2. V could not take his dog to Spain, so the role of Yeontan was played by a look-alike Pomeranian. (At times, the scene is shot from the dog's POV.) 3. The painting scene is a reference to the 1998 film, The Truman Show. 4. The birds are flying in a "V" formation, but in the wrong direction. 5. The geometric shapes superimposed on V's face are reminiscent of da Vinci's Vitruvian Man

This song just perfectly fits the vibe of a typical rainy day, where you're stuck, don't know what to do and just go along with the day, but loved how here he used the rainy day as a metaphor to project the mood of a person going through breakup or loosing someone, it's just soo beautifully gloomy and melancholic and his perfect vocals and delivery just slays it. You can't not feel emotional when you're listening to this song

Taehyung filmed the video for "Rainy Days" on the rooftop of Torres Blancas, an iconic brutalist building located in Madrid. Fitting perfectly with the retro theme, this place was designed by architect Francisco Javier Saenz de Oisa in 1961 and is a prime example of organic brutalism that emerged in the 60s after the rise of brutalism in the 50s.💜

Based on the first two releases and the track list, with Tae’s request that we should listen to the album in the order laid out, I’m wondering if Tae is conveying all the stages of a break up, you know like first moment when you can’t function or are reliving the same day, then blue = sadness, depression (laid out by Tae in Blue & Grey), then wanting the person back and can’t stop thinking about them (Love Me Again). Finally, either, moving on to remember the good times hence getting closure OR getting back together again (with the final two tracks). I could be totally wrong, but he did ask us to listen to the album in order. Time will tell if there is a story. At the same time I can see him throwing a twist plot on my theory because that would be just like Tae. Lol

His name is Rocky, V revealed this during his weverse live yesterday hehe. I'm so excited for the full album = Blue, Slow Dancing and For Us and it was recommended to listen to them in order so yeah ~ but so far "Rainy Days" is about being stuck & isolated, away from everyone. Then "Love Me Again" is about longing for someone, missing someone. I wonder what Blue is about since it's between these two released songs. 1. Rainy Days > Stuck, Isolated, Waiting, Idle mode. 2. Blue > ??? 3. Love Me Again > Longing, Missing, asking to be loved again. 4. Slow Dancing 5. For Us For me, the lyrics might just be metaphor to what he is truly trying to say. If you remember In The Soop talk with JK, he once said that he was feeling happy whenever he is communicating with ARMYs but once that is done, he feels empty and longs to be with the ARMYs again.
