It can work in some cases, but I think you cannot get all the motions that we have discussed here, with an empty-parented camera. However, if you are getting a good result, use it. What you suggested is a nice technique as well!
By export, do you mean export as a video, or export as a 3D object for another 3D software? For video exports, we have created some beginner's tutorials and we are planning to cover the complete video editing in more details in another tutorial very soon. However, export for another 3D software is deliberately not touched yet because of two reasons: 1) I have limited experience in other 3D software, whatever I do I use Blender alone... and 2) Many people use many different software, Blender natively has very limited support for such exports, we need to use specific add-ons for specific software and they are mostly paid add-ons.
@@5MinutesBlender okay i see the point. I never used blender before even if it's installed in my machine since. Since i discovered your videos (1day ago😂) i act like a pro now lol, my colleagues are impressed of my data viz. So after finishing the work on blender whatever if it is a video, a map or a 3D object i'm sure many people will like to take them elsewhere, That's why I was talking about. But thank you very much for all your tutos.
Well, as far as the camera is concerned, we cannot use a follow path constraint and parenting together, it will give weird results. And for a large scene, the camera will probably focus at various objects at various times, so I think parenting it to one particular object may not be so useful.
