The perfection loop is a great fixed knot that, I believe, is under used. It's easy to tie and can be used at the end or in the middle of a rope or line. This knot could be used anytime you may have used a bowline, alpine butterfly or figure 8 loop knot. It can even be used as the loop in a truckers hitch!
Note: When tying this knot in the middle of a rope, like in the truckers hitch, it is directional. Meaning that it works well if oriented in one direction but not the other.
