Hoodscoop is standard on Gt model, you do not need performance pak. I got the GT premium California speacial w/Active exhaust few days ago (manual for the win!) Love it!
Thanks for the info! I was pretty sure I have seen it on all GT's so far. The color combo on the Cali edition is quite nice! Bonus points on manual as well 🤌🤌
“these fly off the shelves” Not really surprisingly. A lot of inventory on 24’ Mustangs and staying on dealer lots 60+ days. Wait a few months and these will be even cheaper once 25’ Mustangs get allocated. Beautiful car
They don’t stand out from other cars like they used to. I remember when the 2005 Mustang came out. The street presence was like no other. The Mustang has not had that same effect since. Sure new ones are more powerful and perform better but looks-wise they do not have a WOW factor to them at all.
@@newfie-dean5803BS! You're telling me that these haven't looked as good since the 05?? Or turned heads??? 😅😅😅😅 I get it, that's you're opinion... But man!
@@newfie-dean5803 believe it’s more mix of inflated prices + high interest rates on car loans that’s stopping buyers. Extra expensive to own one, but they should be negotiable
A Base with a Performance Pack has always been the best choice or the way to go as far as bang for buck.. And the dude is totally right about the insurance. They are expensive to insure year round and year after year. A lot of guys will park their cars for half the year and keep minimum insurance on them... I just had to call my insurance guy and raised my deductibles and lowered payouts.. It's a lot of money for a weekend car..
GT with the Perf Pack and Darkhorse are the only ones that come with an oil cooler. Ford cheaped out by not having them in the other 650s . Simple or hard pulls without an oil cooler with eventually cook your engine and engine temps will be above 250.
trashy/undesirable p-zero pirelli tires. these were stock on my 2019 GT and had to be replaced {all fours} in 13k. replaced with continental xtreme contact{all seasons} now hooks up in 2nd gear WOT with T/C off!
@@cookincars none really. I got the base GT 6 speed manual. Only option it has is the nite pony package. My toy car is my 800hp supercharged corvette. It’s the first ford I’ve ever owned but really seem to be enjoying it.
Believe it or not but the stock cloth seats that Ford uses are pretty nice and comfortable too.. They wrap around just enough to hold you in place and they are soft at the same time.. I found a Gen 2 2017 with 8,909 miles on her 6 months ago.. That's where the real deals are with a 1 owner, low miles, used GT's..
@@Firog6004 Very soft feeling for sure.. My buddy has a Scat Pack and an Older Foxbody and when he got in my car he was blown away by the comfort.. First thing he brought up were the Base Seats and how comfortable he felt in them.. I have a Nissan Juke Daily with leather heated seats and the nines and honestly I don't really care about all the new Tech.. When I am in my GT I barely listen to the radio or mess with Tech.. I don't even have my phone Bluetoothed in. I'm 51 so that kind of stuff does nothing for me... It's the power and sound of these cars that got me. And the feeling.
@@cookincars thank you I appreciate it. And it's always a good thing to haggle with the salesman to get 3,000 dollars off sticker price. And you know your getting a good deal when the sales manager comes out.
@cookincars M2 - better steering feel, more track capable, rs3 - better interior, quicker low-mid acceleration, Z06 and Zl1 faster and better overall sports cars. Supra - Better styling, lighter, quick turn in, better trans. This is all specific to me of course though I think there are objective reasons why these alternatives are better options.
The Performance Pack is NOT the best choice if you live up north. Gotta avoid those "summer only" tires. Love the spoiler and the wheels (rims) that come with the Performance Pack.
@@cookincars I own a Honda 2023 Passport Trailsport for the winter months. My 2024 GT Premiun has the Brembo package, active exhaust package and the 401A package.
@@cookincars - Used to own a 2020 GT500 but one of the tires blew up while on the highway. This happened because the GT500 sat in my unheated garage during the winter months.
Owners manual just advises this for break in periods: "driving new tires for about 300 miles (480 km). During this time, the vehicle may exhibit some unusual driving characteristics. For the first 1,000 miles, Ford recommends avoiding: Heavy use of the brakes and clutch, Driving at high speeds, Aggressive shifting, and Using the vehicle to tow"
Great video but I gotta stick to my 2024 automatic transmission GT premium. I have mines in silver and black all around. Sick looking car I’m so in loved with it. Traded my old 2020 GT with the Mach one grill
The new five point O Is ugly. It needs the Dark Horse wheels and a front lip or splitter and it needs a better looking rear deck lid spoiler. It just looks two toned down. It needs to be a little more aggressive. . They should have made the Dark Horse body kit and wheels the regular GT add-on option. I get so sick of these one-off limited edition models that only come in a hardtop or you can't get them in a manual and they only make them for one year and then stop making them or they'll Jack the price of 10 or 15,000 dollars. I'm sick of it. And then they make the regular GT look ugly
My auto is fun for me and that’s what matters lol I am not pro one or the other by the way…I am Pro “whatever floats your boat “ with that said , I love the Dark Horse!
