There was definitely sound on set, it was just removed for the special feature. Probably something related to music rights. They wouldn’t have the money to include it there. Probably why this clip was left off the Blu-ray entirely, didn’t seem worth it without the music.

it’s a bit choppy at the verse change and i had to improvise for some parts that didn’t fit quite right and kept the ending with the movie so it ended right too

The behind the scenes from perks of being a wallflower doesn't come with sound :) they add it in afterwards

@@KingsDR good question but no, what normally happens is that they will have music there when they are acting but they remove that afterwards but then add the music back in to make it sound better and gives them control of how it will sound when editing, hope that makes sense
