I’m rewatching this, and kind of want to see how Techno reacts when he realizes that not only did he fail to keep Theseus safe from their family, but even if he did, he failed to keep Theseus safe from himself.
... why do people realize things too late or the wrong things too fast? I'm just glad Theseus didn't make it worse by trying to leave then faint on the floor.
They realize once it's too late because in the time of their action they don't realize the consequences that their actions have (If misunderstood what you asked I'm sorry TuT)

the fanfic is based on a webtoon called the remarried empress about a empress whose husband brought in a commoner woman who eventually took the place of the empress, the empress is tommy and the emperor is phil. the commoner in the actual story's name is rashta but was renamed trashta since she knew what she was doing with the emperor.

Bruh, people asking for a part 2. That's gonna be it. BR Dream finding out what happened, and basically having to be dragged away by BR Sapnap before he murders the royal family. Cause at that point, BR Dream will be pure willpower and rage.
@@prince_txic9263 Ok, well Spoilers, for anyone else, this is fair warning, I'm leaving spaces, so I don't spoil it for everyone. So long story short BR Techno is technically "guarding" BR Theseus, trying to keep him safe. However, his "safety measures" are not actually anything that will help keep BR Theseus safe from his emotional abuse from his family or emotional abuse from anyone really tbh. BR Theseus becomes emotionally distant because of his responsibilities as prince as well as his emotions being used as weapons in court. So he hardens himself as best he can, but when his elder brother BR Wilbur returns, because BR Wilbur can't accept what BR Theseus is like now and wants to see emotions from his brother again even if it's just his anger, he starts to hurt his brother BR Theseus. BR Techno watches this happen and let's their father emotionally neglect and hurt another one of his brothers. His protection extends around his family physically, but doesn't protect them from tearing each other apart or other's words from seeping in. Enters BR Ranboo, who is accepted into the family after being found severely hurt and without any memory of who he is. The drives the wedge between the family even deeper, as BR Wilbur weaponizes BR Ranboo against BR Theseus in anyway he can at first and BR Theseus is told to be nice to BR Ranboo, even though he is literally watching his father treat a stranger with familial affection he got from only Wilbur and lost when Wilbur left. BR Techno basically stands to the side as everything between his family becomes increasingly toxic. Man can step up to keep his twin, BR Wilbur, from taking BR Theseus away from this toxic mess, but can't ever stand up for his family when it counts. And when BR Theseus finds out that BR Techno thoroughly knew exactly what BR. Theseus had been going through, BR Theseus got rightfully angry. BR Techno got butthurt by it, but I say that he deserves everything he gets coming after this. Man is biggest coward. When his twin accidentally hurts him, he abandoned his brother, even though his twin tries to apologize. He realized the pressure BR Theseus was going through and stood by watching like he wasn't a member of this family and couldn't step in at anytime to stop his twin or his father. Like c'mon, I don't care if it's messy, Theseus wouldn't have either, but when he needed your help, where were you? Sitting around waiting for it to get better? Grow up.
Cause he is obsessed with Theseus and only wants him to be his like a weird psycho. I guess it's like the voices are telling him to keep Theseus for himself. I guess 💕💗
Good ending; Phil is chosen. Theseus is emperor. Now the imperial family has one less idiot! Lost Boy Ending; Theseus is chosen. As per the mechanism rules, he does not become a soul. He never sees Kristen, and is never reborn. Best Ending; Wilbur’s chosen. All problems solved. Why would you Ending; Fundy is chosen. Theseus has the fandom’s glocks at his head. :} Featherless Ending; Techno is chosen. As per the mechanism rules, he is never reborn and never gets to see Squidkid or Chat ever. Neutral Ending; Theseus kills some commoner that said something weird when he was out (not Ranboo) and nothing changes. Except everyone is confused. Minus the family ofc. Paperwork Ending; Ranboo is chosen. Theseus is hated on my his family and humiliated later on. He becomes numb, as the emperor is too busy to do his 20% of paperwork. Theseus dies of malnourishment (time) later. Manger Please Ending; All Karens of the universe parish, giving mercy to all the future managers and customer service workers. This is my favorite one.
