Pete has carried this show since day one. If Sebastian were to let Pete be Pete and let him be comfortable and not call him out on every little thing like, coasters or the way he sits or this and that, Pete would be 10x funnier.
Yeah, I don’t like when Sebastian act superior to Pete. Pete doesn’t need him to have a great life. He was hilarious with Brian Kilmeade on his show the other night.
Absolutely. I was watching Sebastian thinking his mind must be racing after Pete confessing to being sick several times in the night…then going in the pool! I’m surprised he didn’t spontaneously combust! 😂🤣🔥No, I can’t see Sebastian with a dog, but maybe it’s going to ease his obsessions 🤷🏻♀️ Love Pete & Sebastian they bounce off each other very well 😊
I appreciate the realness. Y’all showed up for us hungover as all hell. Ouch, Pete. I have to say, I do sort of miss the old way with you all doing the cast from your own homes. With this new way, I feel like there so much off camera that we are missing out on. When you do the cast from your own homes it’s like you all are catching up with one another, swapping stories and we are right there for it. Much love.
Finally the people are speaking up. We loved The Cast… then you took the wrong turn. This is a semi correction but not quite back to your best retro Casts.

I’m not being negative, but is it just me? But does the old way they were doing comedy better. I don’t know what it was about Pete ducking off camera to have a puff, and Sebastian getting a kick out of it just seemed more fun. Pete’s wife vacuuming while doing the show etc just made the comedy different than these other podcasts.
i agree. while i love the visits with guests, i think where they started is what is special about these two. They are uniquely, unapollagetically themselves and that is something you DON"T see on most other podcasts.
Some guests have been good. But I really do think this show does better when these two are Zooming versus in person. Somehow it works better but I don't know why. When they do the show from their own bunkers, it's funnier. No doubt the guests have mostly been good and entertaining.
The only guest I liked was Bill Burr - the rest were not even funny. SO here they are - just the two of them again - still, the podcast is not as good as it used to be - to be honest! And I really don't care about Tom Cruise - don't agree about the handshake - would not do anything for me. And I am a woman - not crazy about Tom at all. Too short!!!

Ok. I love both of you and the show but Sebastian is driving me up the wall. I feel bad for Pete! Sebastian reminds me of my brother, a little, anal and uptight. I was once like that but it steals the moments in life. I am now more like Pete. Things don't matter it's the moments together that do! Hang in there Pete!
I like the old format the best. The in person cast is just ok for me...but I definitely prefer just the two of them without guests. Basically the guests bored me. Sorry. Just like you two the best.
Sebastian thinks he is perfect and knows how Pete should behave. What Sebastian doesn’t understand is Pete carries😮 the show especially when there is a guest. Sebastian is totally awkward.

Just put the custom dog on its custom coaster. It absorbs the moisture. OCD’s can even take the joy outta wealth! Man, eat some shrooms or somethin’ between pedicures…

I've been listening to The Cast since the beginning (ep.1) and yes still sticking with it but Sebastian comes off as so rude,condescending,and just plain miserable when it comes to Petey.
I disagree, it's their dynamic. It works, it's funny. Pete's a big boy and can take cate of himself. Sebastian fell into an alternate universe, but he's still humble.
And on a side note 📝 What makes the cast so special is it stands out in the style 😎 Not trying to keep up with other podcast formats. Less is more in my opinion ❤
Just a thought. I’m sure the “Pete & Sebastian Show” in the frame isn’t a green screen. BUT make it so it is & you can do all kinds of stuff with it. Like when you’re talking about a video or something, have it in the frame!
I’ll always love these guys but I’m definitely gonna miss those hilarious travel stories, occasional manarios, Lou laughing in the back, and Jimmy opening the show- all while pete did the cast from his car or some place ridiculous😂 Simple, but really had a charm to it
I miss them in their natural habitat. Getting used to Patrick was one thing. The in person thing has gone too far. The dynamic completely changes and this is a different show at this point.
I agree. There was something about the Cheese store that didn't work for me either. Pete was definitely the bigger personality there which is a riot. He definitely has the gift for entertaining people in a group. But I thought they were funnier also the original way, not sure what changed.

Yes they’re going back to the old cast. Pete lives in NY they’re only doing this cuz Pete is visiting. This is the last episode I believe of them together
I love The Cast ❤ And watched every single episode to date plus re watching . Adding a few guestin the mix is great. But blasting and back cataloging seemed to a hevay toll on the show and quality. In person for Christmas , Halloween New years etc like specials is great. But we just want the good ol zoom style where you have so much more content and topics to pull from. Love the investment into making it better for us. But nothing beats the orginal style. I still watch evey episode. But the Gold comes in the zooms. Thats facts 💯 and im sure many can agree. Xo 🤗

I like the old way... there is something, a level of excited energy, that is injected when two good friends who haven't spoken in a while get together for a good old chat. The anticipation and the happiness at being able to shoot the breeze with a close friend... these are present in the old approach but get lost to a certain extent when you opt instead to get together to "bang out" a handful of casts all at once. IMO. Thanks for the excellent entertainment. You two are solid gold together, the perfect pairing.
I know everyone gets annoyed with the ads, but it always makes my heart smile when they plug Omaha Steaks. My Nana was from Nebraska and she always used to send us Omaha Steak gift boxes at the holidays ❤ Miss you Nans
Maybe the cheese plate is something your guests would better enjoy if it was sent to them after their appearance on the cast. A nice touch when they get back home🍷 🧀
It’s nice to every now and then do an in person show but please don’t switch over to recording episodes in bulk. I love this show because it’s two friends keeping up with each other each week and sharing stories of their lives
14:51 - Sebastian crosses his leg, and now he’s in Pete’s air space!!😂😂😂 It’s funny that people are watching these episodes, but don’t seem to understand that he was only in California for a couple of days. They filmed a bunch of episodes and then share them individually each week. It’s not like he was in California for a month without his family.
gotta love how seriously annoyed Sebastian is with Pete.. He’s trying his damndest to play it off. never seen someone who’s has the capability of appearing so welcoming yet unwelcoming at the same time.

Glad to see you guys one on one again. I prefer this to the guests, but you guys did it sans guest for so long it's just the normal. I can appreciate having guests grows the crowd. Theo has a nice format of famous guests, normal folk and him going solo. Don't be afraid to mix it up.
