I struggle sleeping each night due to the affects of an Acoustic shock event 11 years ago that's left me with Chronic Tinnitus and Ive been meaning to make a comment for ages now to say I am so grateful for the entertaining podcasts as its so different to anything else I have heard and takes my mind off on how I feel at the time as its around 1am every Friday morning you pop into my feed and watch it from ma TV in ma bedroom. . Thank you both of you. By the way Bec, Its so weird as from the late 70s I knew a lass from my local who is a double of you in so many ways here in Edinburgh especially with the wine and your humour. Peter if you get time look up Professor of Rock on you tube, I genually feel you'll find it interesting as he goes back to the 60s.70s with interviews, lots of stories and events that not many know about, It well presented too, All the best. Many thanks for this new podcast. @Bec: These are very nice new boots; outfit and Model are excellent. @Peter: You made me laugh with the sentence: "The World of Bec". @Peter: Based on your experience and what you have seen from other pro-photographers, how often there is risk of negatively impact their business for having use the wrong lenses? In a pro-context, is it common to hear (as a friendly feedback): "if you had use a different lens this photograph would have been much better"? @Peter & Bec: I had a case with solar panels. One day, I went to a large well known electronic store, looking for a printer. I approached a sales assistant and he told me that the appropriate colleague would come. After a couple of minutes, one of them was coming to me, and I was surprised how quick he came; it was unbelievable, because usually they are very busy... but too good to be true. When he finally approached me, he asked me, in a very polite manner: "are you interested in buying and installing solar panels? How do you think I felt: a) happy, b) unmoved, c) unhappy, d) upset, e) angry, f) blood boiling? If you haven't chosen the later one, you haven't passed the test. @Bec: If you have recurrent dreams about you working there, you can try the following, just read these lines. Come back to that building, from outside, try to identify the window that was closest to your desk. Then, try to (mentally) see, through that window, the "old" Bec that works there, like in a jail, sad, hopeless, without having a future. Look at her until she (your "old" you) looks at you too. Then, smile to her, and send the message, through your eyes, that soon it will be over, that there is still hope. Then, she (your "old" you) will understand the message and she will smile to you too. Then you will have released her and you will be free too; from that day on, you will be able to sleep well and have rest. @Peter: A video has less impact than an image, but it takes more time: recording and editing. @Peter & Bec: For those who complain about Models... is there any prototype of Model, and any deviation from it should be avoided? Really?

Been watching you guys since the plague, thank you both, I have learnt so much. In a year or more maybe you would you regret selling the 503? What about trying a Phase One or Leaf digital back on the 503? I know it's more like 645 than 6x6 but it's one of the reasons I got a 501. I haven't yet but in the future I could always put a digital back on it. Have to say I have never looked THAT far into it though. Maybe that way it would be more useable but retain the vintage Hasselblad look with the option of film backs too? The same is probably true for the RB67 but more complicated maybe. Maybe a fun experiment too?

Bec, I only saw five or six possums during the 14 years I lived in Austin. You’re more likely to see one in Georgia. Austin is better for seeing armadillos than possums.

I think there’s possums all over the United States. I’m in New Jersey, USA in a suburban area, but you only see them at night.

i been experiencing some problems with "models" (girls on the internet that did like 1-3 shoots and are clueless how things work). Also more and more of them lately are lying about wanting fashion portfolio pictures and in reality they just want pictures to show off and get attention on the internet, this is also part of why they pick different and more images than i pick. is there a growing trend of this? several of them have demanded to be much more involved in image selection than they deserve to be. they either refuse to sign the model release. or they do a tantrum about wanting 100 or 200 images from a shoot when i only give them the 5 best ones and they demanding to want to see the images before i publish them i think they should not have themselves photographed by me if they are not comfortabel with the way they look. and if they shoot with me. they should know what kind of stuff i produce and they should let me pick the images because they choose to work with me and not the other 10000 photographers out there. correct me if anything i said is a wrong point of view.

Peter, you're so mean to Bec. She works so hard for you if she needs a little drinky to get through her day that's fine.
