The first thing I’d do is move the tanks forward to close the tank to stack gap. And Color wise I’d do an old school brown with gold stripes 👌🏼

Old school, the classic looks, green/gold, brown/cream, blue/white.

The w900 came back.. I bet they bring these back.. let sales go down. Put the old school headlights on it and replace the plastic mirrors with metal ones.. that’s all I’d do 🤷‍♂️

Change the headlights to rectangles headlights, make it looks more old school. Get rid of the hood latches hide them 😊beautiful truck

i like the truck and i like the color. maybe put gold leaf stripes on it? maybe a triple X style X on it? some airbrush drop shadow, done. for the door window, i would just install a filler panel and paint it. then put the logo over top. Then again, if you are going to paint it, might as well skin it. How about painting the wheels? just leave the outside of the lip polished, like an old-school trim ring? Do they make a chrome trim piece for over the windshield split? or maybe a painted trim piece?

I love the color of “Rust Bucket” I think it was called. The only thing I don’t care for on this truck is the chrome front fenders but I understand why many will like them.

It's a beautiful truck. I would like to see a Legendary Blue. Or a Bright Silver. Both flat top. I definitely like the Old School look I love the visor. The way it sits right now the only thing I think I would add is the Big Air foil on the sleeper. I would keep the horns on top. But also add some train horns somewhere.

It sure is nice seeing such a beautiful Peterbilt I'll never be able to afford new.

I would DEFINITELY change the Headlites & have 11r 24.5 with clear led lenses on all the lites with matching 150g fuel tanks

If I’m getting a 389x I’ll put some cool motor in Right now I just have a custom 2022 peterbilt 389 with a C15 cat traded it in for that pete before I had a N14 cummins custom 379

At first, I didn't like the 389x because of the digital dash. But then, I saw the 589. Needless to say, I now love the 389x

Horizontal exhaust shouldn't even be an option on all 389Xs from the factory.

I just ordered the Legendary shirt, I would've bought the die cast of Legendary but 280 is a bit pricey for me

why not go back to the the stripe packages like w 900 kenworths had in the 60s that run across the top of the hood and run across the doors and up the sides of the bunk and how about a truck in wild plum with rasberry front fenders

We have the First and Last 379X’s. Never worked or driven , kept them as a set. Couldn’t get a 359 classic.

That's not bad. But have you ever driven a DAF XG+, Actros Edition 2 or Scania S-Series? 😉

i was going to order a x in black sapphire but I am going with a regular 389

All I would do to that truck is just to put a stainless steel deck plate and a lights bar in the back. That’s literally it in my opinion. Try to keep it as original as possible. Blessings to you guys 🙏

Hey, it looks like a 389 but it’s got a 389X package wow !!!

And if I ordered a 389x 90 things that I would change would be the front bumper and I put breather lights on it and I put lights in the bumper or on the Rover and I would put underglow on the frame and I would put a center panel between the tanks and I would put a center panel between the rear tools and double hump fenders with a deck plate a nice decorative back panel what's a bunch of lights and underglow and I would change the color of the engine to match the color of the truck Chrome it out and change intake tubes to Lincoln Chrome and make the frame like glass the colors would be midnight blue metallic in it and a midnight blue on the frame with the metallic in it

If I’m able to find an old 379, I’m going all stock just like from a 1998 movie Black Dog because it’s just perfect the way it was and I have not seen a truck in its factory form since many just go all crazy custom.
