Whoever created the narrative that a man or woman ‘completes you’ has damaged countless generations of men and women. You should be whole. Seeking a partner who is whole, that compliments you. Not completes you. The simple law of nature is reciprocity. Whatever you emit, you get in return. You can not get wholeness from incompletion. Period.

I realized it's unhealthy to be in any relationship, romantic or friendship where you're putting in majority of the effort. If people don't want to text me back I give up. They're not worth my time and I'm not going to pour any more of my most valuable resource into someone else. I used to think this made selfish but it's really an eye for an eye. I've never had so much peace of mind and disposable income.

If a girl and I are now getting to know each other, I’m not double texting her if she hasn’t replied to a message I sent; and if she never replies, I just move on, because no matter how busy someone is, if they’re genuinely interested in you, you should cross their mind at least once during the day-or even the week-and check for your contact and see that you left a message.

You're better being single if your relationship(or lack thereof) is based off texting.
