Been using the Phantom 22 for a couple of days and already i absolutely love it. It feels so good in the hand, really solid little pole. The cherry on the cake, is the Facelift brush, with the nylon bristles & horse hair core. The scrubbing power is noticeably far superior than any other brush i`ve used. Its a bit heavier than what I'm used to but i think its no bad thing as the brush plants itself firmly down on the glass & gets right into all the corners. Absolutely love the whole set up. I'm sold .....
Good vid mate, been using phantom pole since it came out and have to say the clamps are a game changer. But I put Gardiner quick-loQ angle adapters euro screw on pole and quick-loQ brush sockets on brushes as they are much stronger and quick to change brushes for leaded or Georgian windows. If you can go hot water it’s like night and day Be lucky
Great video as usual Pete. On my setup I use the DA Conponents Mini Bronze Wool Pad which catches on the bits that you don’t want it to a lot less. The real game changer is I fitted the Gardiner quick loq swivel goose neck. If you know someone that has one ask to have a look. It’s amazing how much difference it makes. Keep up the good work 👍
Don’t like the the bronze wool Adpta bought one use it once.... made top of pole feel heavy plus kept getting caught on every....reach it window weapon would be better option on the pole .... great video as always trad
Thanks buddy! And cheers for the imput 😁👍🏻 I did have a window weapon for a while, the qualitly of the product didn't match it's high price tag. Each to there own though. I know what you mean about the bronze wool. I only put it on when needed. I keep the adaptor arm attached, then keep the bronze wool pad in my pocket (I have a work vest which has baggy side pockets) so I just take it out now and then when there's something really stubborn on the glass 😁👍🏻👍🏻
You should put the short quick release on the brush and then get another on another brush head for dirty work maby more stiff one How are the coustomers reacting ?
Great video very good pole i have a clx at the moment hoping to get an ova 8 later on .My wifes family come from glasgow shetlestone were in Bracknell .Nice to find lots of good advice on wfp systems from Brothers .🙂👍
@@TradMan very good 25 years trad on ladders bad knee so changed to wfp .purchasef a van and fixed it up recently put a 600 lt tank in with a pump and controler in and lesure battery charged from the van alternator .Not working today as its too hot and have to put proper crimped metal clips on all my fittings as combanation of heat and the power of the new pump is making these older fittings leak but having fun learning and fiddling with my set up .Have been speaking to cleanit Ben and been vey encouraged finding out who are Bros ...had a clue that most videos without bad language could be Bros.rgds Paul 🙂👍
Nice video trad I currently use the 22 hybrid and love it clamps are great also using a Gardiner's brush which is nice thinking if trying out the wcw rinse bar but haven't got it yet and I also use the flyte which is actually nice for keep your van extra tidy and when your getting the pole in and out it's alot easier as I found the wires tangled easy but now it's all on my reel hope your getting on well with the system I'd love to get a hot water system but still working out how to do it on the cheap lol
Hey buddy! Yeah there cracking good qualitly poles from WCW. Yeah I've got the rinse bar but not attached it yet. I'll probably do a wee video on it once I've tested it thoroughly. How you keeping pal?
That thing looks way more comfortable than lugging a 45 foot pole around to every residential job.. The poles for big commercial jobs... I should ask the boss about it! lol.
Hi, just come across your channel as I’m setting myself up for the first time with a pure water system and wfp. I’m planning on cleaning commercial signs as there are a lot of industrial buildings and hotels in my area. In your experience do you think a 30 or 35 foot pole would suit?
Hey buddy, you'll need something a bit longer than 30ft in that case. I would go for something at least near 40ft so you can comfortably clean it with no issues. What I did was buy a 30ft then bought a few extensions for it that I can pop on when needed
Thanks a lot mate really appreciate the help as always 👍🏻 Mines the hybrid version of this and when it’s at full extension it feels like it’s going to snap haha. Il invest in a carbon next and like you said il get the extension bars. Hate to turn down work but if I ain’t got the tools I can’t do the job haha
@@rhysthorpe3413 Yeah the hybrids aren't much use when you get around 30ft and above, too floppy. I had to buy the extensions for cleaning a big hotel. I just told the customer as soon as the tools came in I would call them to arrange a date for the clean. Maybe you could explain your situation and they will wait a little bit
@@TradMan thank you lots for answering. A newbie with tools for window washing. Other than the basics. Where do I find a filter like this. Thank you again. Excited to order one and hoping it makes job's easier
@@Mara-rc6rf I buy my gear online from window cleaning warehouse. They ship worldwide to. They have some great deals on di and ro filtration systems and also have trollys and backpack options
@@TradMan Morning. Is it still the case, that the tubeless kit can't be used with the phantom pole? Also, can I use the Gardiners Swivel neck on the phantom pole?
@@JasonDunlop247 hey mate! I had the tubeless kit on my phantom, worked fine. Think I needed to cut the foam cap at the bottom a little bit if memory serves. Squeaky clean dave is an expert on that tubeless kit, give him a wee message pal.
@@JasonDunlop247 I'm not sure about the gardiner swivel mate for the phantom, I use it on my gardiner but would have to test it. I'm out the country at the moment but again give squeaky clean Dave a shout he's maybe tried that! If you need his contact info let me know your email address. Send me a message at mrtradman@hotmail.com if you need to and I'll ask dave if its ok to pass on his email 😉
@@TradMan I ordered the phantom 22 Peter. I was going to try the ova , as I've heard that's even better. However I was put off by the lack of detail on varitech website. I like detail on anything I purchase. I'm certain the phantom will be a big upgrade on the Gardiners slx 22 though. 👍
😂 😂 , but seriously I took them into Screwfix to have them all replaced and the guy behind the counter looked at me like I had two heeds when I showed him them. When tightening they snap very easily 🤷♂️
Lol, I've honestly never had an issue. Had phantoms for years never had anything break and it's used everyday 🤔 Goodness knows maybe you got a dud one 🤷🏼♂️ Did you contact WCW?
Only one bolt snapped on mine when first tightened them up. But that was 2 years ago and have them on phantom 25, slx 27, phantom trad 370 and an old streamline 25 pole and haven't had another snap. Just don't overtighten!
