Dr.Doom out right admitted to be manipulating her, heck House of M was Quicksilvers idea and Magneto was the one who pushed her. It wasn't her fault.

Have you ever read House of M in your life? And yes, I think everyone knows Quicksilver has a MAJOR part in what happened. Plus afterwards he continued to wreck Gabon and be a danger to himself and others . Why do you think Spider-Man went off on him, why do you think Magneto killed him, why do you think Crystal didn’t want Luna to go with him? And I don’t see how House of M was Magneto’s fault he had NO IDEA, and he didn’t try to influence her in anyway. That was all Pietro, he tried to help her. I guess the only thing you might can say he did wrong in that situation was planning to do nothing when the Avengers when they were going to kill her. But that would have been for the better, she had the potential to destroy the MULTIVERSE…and destroyed Mutantkind instead. And it’s not like Erik ever saw her too much as a daughter, he didn’t even know she was until he was an adult . Of course he’s not going to view her the same way as he would a daughter he raised from birth. As for Doom, he didn’t create House of M or manipulate Wanda unit doing it or wiping out mutants. When he admitted that he was lying cause he was clearly loosing it, Cyclops and some of the X-Men would have killed him(or sorry TRIED to kill him, because we all know that’s a difficult, borderline impossible task). All he really did was try to help Wanda get her sons back by messing with the Life Force with her(and let’s be honest Doom probably wanted some of The Life Force power himself if not all of it)and then things went wrong, and we know the rest of the story. IDK about everyone else, but a significant amount of people aren’t calling for Wanda to be freaking chained up and dragged through the streets as people stone her, then tortured for a few thousand years, and then killed an FCC the brought back to life and then erased from existence. Just for a little bit of accountability and some punishment. Pietro, granted I only speak for myself, got punished pretty well. Otherwise he would have never been on X-Factor team. Sorry…I know I ranted…

The Phoenix Force would only resurrect itself in The White Hot Room and would return anytime it wishes. The existence of life across the Multiverse is a solid proof that the Phoenix Force was barely affected.

Never heard the phrase, "Die like a Hero or live long enough to be the Villian"? Basically, that was what happened to Cyclops. Even heroes can go bad. Cyclops could not handle the power. His mind snapped under the full force of the Phoenix Force. Also, he too had a grudge against Xavier for a time. Even though Frost kind of planted those thoughts into his mind. If anything Frost is mostly at fault. As it is within her personality to manipulate people into doing things she wants them to do or push them in a direction they should be taking. Yet, of course, I'd be sounding sexist to say it is all her fault but the sad fact is. She is not innocent either.

Except Cyclops offered the power to Hope when he got the Phoenix but he trolled her and didn't even give it to her. He corrupted by the power just as Avengers predicted and then it escalated to him killing Prof X. When Cyclops had the chance to do the right thing he didn't. I will never stand why people say Cyke was right when they ignore critical information like this.

Both sides were wrong. You don’t march into a person’s house and demand a member of their family, unless you want to start a fight, which is exactly what Cap went there to do. Cyclops progressively worsens the situation with some help from Emma’s scheming (who I think really wanted the Phoenix Force to herself), Xavier’s historically and consistently dodgy self and mostly b/c of Phoenix’s corruption. Like Superman and Batman in Injustice, the last thing Cyclops needed at the time was directive and judgment from Cap. A little understanding and some humility could have done wonders. That being said, this cringe story reminded me of why I’m done with Cap (as if I wasn’t already way before Civil War). Not every frickin’ situation is a zero sum. 🤦🏾‍♀️

And maybe the reason that they get "power hungry" is really just the force "calling" each of it's portions and the chosen one just so happened to be Cyclops.

Yes, Cyclops was right. I followed through on the comics and aftermath of AVX, none of the Avengers or other X-men even mentions or credits that Cyclops' plan and efforts from the beginning was totally right from the start. All they can see is that this mutant is a criminal, ironically making everyone else blind when Scott is the one who has trouble with his eyes.

Was he really? Who knows if the training given to hope at the institute was enough. Maybe it was being in Kun lun and training there that did it. Maybe it was training with the avengers that made hope able to be ready for the phoenix. We will never know but for now cyclops was right but he's dick for putting the earth in jeopardy.

With Hope willing to let go of the PF and in conjunction with Wanda's powers, they can remove the presence of the Phoenix Force from Earth, but they cannot destroy the force completely. The existence of life across the Multiverse and the Phoenix's eventual return is a solid proof of that.

The events were, We got the Phoenix, we cured all disease, we fed the hungry, we give infinite amounts of energy to everyone who isn't weaponizing it, we are make the planet a better place... "Okay avengers, how do we kill this evil, EVIL group of people who are saving this planet?" Think about it from Cyclops' view for a moment. As a mutant, he's been using his powers and abilities to save humanity at every turn, they reject him and mutant kind. He then gets the Phoenix force, moves mutants to their own land and save humanity from itself, reject him and everyone who is obviously doing objectionably good deeds and saving lives and helping people. Why the fuck would he think Xavier was right, especially now when they still as a race get no respect whatsoever. Apparently a false god who doesn't claim to be god, but insists on helping people isn't even good enough when those actions are even apparent. Obviously, Xavier was wrong. #XavierWasWrong

I think the best thing to do with this event is ignore it. Lots of people say this event was poorly written and they do just that, ignore it. Events and actions of both teams making no sense and characters acting out of character, etc.
