@@KUTFO588 Ayton Bol Bol Durant Book Beal. Every game would be over by the second unit even has a chance to check in if Bol Bol can reach his potential.
Eubanks, Metu, and, Bates-Diop are ALL former Spurs. The Suns knows those Popovich coached role players know how to efficiently contribute and apply work ethic to always be ready.
Goodwin is a defensive minded point guard. Maybe not a true point guard. But good enough. Beal and Booker have point guard skills to. Even Durant can run the offense. I’d rather run a tall and long lineup with no true point guard than a smaller lineup that will hurt their defense and rebounding.
I think it’s easy to overlook that Goodwin had a 3:1 assist to turnover ratio last year. He has the potential to be a solid two way PG if he works on his shot and continues with his good decision making.
@@basketballgodz7027 those two dont like attacking the paint and i think thats important because getting those efficient easy shots really helps your team when nothing is falling. bol's too thin and ayton likes push shots. if someone here could change their game a little to attack the paint to get those easy looks i think it may be the best offense in the league.
@@mikeee2xxThe Nets wiped everybody when they were healthy, just their stars got impatient too soon and beefed in other areas. It was a chemistry issue, definitely not talent.
Don't think the suns are going the point guard way. They got rid of Payne in a salary dump move. Book/Beal will play point for the starting 5. Jordan Goodwin/Eric Gordon will lead the offense for the 2nd unit
The sun only needed one more really good player a couple really descent role players for depth and they actually added both there is no team the suns ain’t capable of running over this year. Really I see them sweeping a series or two
The Suns don't really need a distributor at point guard. Instead, they need a three and D guy like DeAnthony Melton or something along those lines. The team is obviously built to win it all but I fear that in the postseason they may suffer from a lack of free throw attempts since the entire roster is devoid of slashers that can get to the charity stripe in crunch time and also get the opposing team's players into foul trouble. I'd also like to see Ayton used a bit more creatively. Williams essentially used him as a traditional center, never wanted him to wander outside the paint much. Ayton is much more dynamic than like prime DeAndre Jordan or Rudy Goebert. He has good touch and form on his jumpers. I'm not suggesting dude turn into a guy that primarily plays as a stretch big man like Channing Frye or Ryan Anderson. More of like a Marc Gasol or LaMarcus Aldridge later in his career. If he could average like no more than 2 attempts a game and hit at least 32-33% of them, which shouldn't be hard with all the defensive attention the big 3 of the team will receive.
Book & Beal were both better passers than Payne, so I expect them to push the pace much higher this year and move the ball around to their playmakers and shooters.
Everyone is sleeping on ayton! He will be in one on one against a lot avg centers most nights! And he will get easy buckets at the rim! Ayton will have the entire paint to work and he’s an exceptional midrange shooter. I’m not worried about not having a point guard. Beal booker KD can all create offense for themselves and teammates . My only concern is can booker defer at times he looks to score for himself and doesn’t find teammates. If they can share ball and keep the ball moving and score in the flow of the game it’ll be tuff stopping them from scoring! Vogel will have them at lest top ten defensively! Offensively they’ll have the best offense in the league!
The real hype is will be if they lose this will hurt Durants legacy again as much as I hate it this is just literally Brooklyn All over again but in a better conference let’s be honest guys nobody wins stacking offense, defense wins championships so let’s be realistic and let’s see what actually happens.
And when the sun's don't win the championship this year the media will make excuses for him with this dream team while they attack LeBron for not winning with his weak team and even weaker side kick AD.
Look i I think the suns is going to be extremely lethal my only question is going to be deandre atyon and if he can anchor the defense along side Kevin Durant and play at a high level overall.🏀
Luca Rosca good commentary good analysis. No I understand you want to get a owner credit. But he does a build the team the GM does the job, give the GM some credit, man cause when it goes messed up they gonna blame him. Not the owner the owner approves everything. Jones who is the GM of got his name right? Who is responsible for getting the type of players that they need not the owner.
The last five years of the league have been dominated by big men Giannis Jokic, Embiid all three of them destroy Phoenix in the inside we watched Giannis drop 50 on them for a championship so phoenix response to that is getting even smaller players??? This is going to be another embarrassment like Brooklyn
I used to hate the Warriors but I’ve seen more and more how their fans are cool unlike Lakers fans. and Klay won me over with what he said on Paul George’s pod last week. I’ll also be rooting for the Dubs if the Suns get bounced
The west goes through Phoenix period...I'm not looking at da offense I'm looking at their ability 2 defend with those players abd that coach... this means championship...Phoenix not only favorites..who u got.. u think can beat dem in a series 5 or 7?
Booker is a good defender, KD is a very good help defender and has length to deter shots, Yutanabe us the ultimate Hustle player. And Frank Voegel is a defensive minded head coach. Monty wasn't. Team defense is more important than individual.
