The Phone Call NO ONE Wants to Get… 

Prayer Warriors please lift 7-year-old Everett here in Florida up in prayers. Tomorrow "Monday" he will have heart surgery the determines if he lives on earth or with Jesus. This little fellow was mentioned today in church. Thank you for all the prayers.

I love that old saying, that......." going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than going to a garage makes you a car."

Christ didn’t preach in a church. When my husband was dying I asked the chaplain if God would penalize him if he didn’t go to church but beieved in Christ, and she said no she didn’t believe he does that. My husband was with me for every appointment, surgery, and radiation treatment when I had breast cancer. I was with him for every appointment and for every hour of his hospital stays when he broke his hip, found out he had cancer, and had the heart attack brought on by the cancer until he took his last breath. He was strong for me, and I was strong for him. That’s what you do for the love of your life. That’s what you two for each other.

I have terminal cancer. It has been tough, but honestly, some good has come of it. My daughter (who was 13 when I got diagnosed), has gotten to watch me try to soldier through all the medicine and testing and pain. I think that will help her in her future. In spite of what the oncologist said, I lived long enough to watch her go on her first date, her prom and go off to college. Now she is a successful cook at a trendy restaurant, and going to attend culinary school in the fall. I am very blessed! Prayers to you and your lovely family!

I heard a pastor say long ago,”The rapture may not happen today but my rapture may happen today.” We must always be ready. My brother died in a car wreck at 32 and my husband died in a car wreck at 45. As you said we’re not promised even the rest of this day.❤🙏🙏I’m praying for your complete healing.

We experienced a miracle when my wife got pneumonia and a emergency room Dr. decided to do a cat scan and found a brain tumor that could have taken her in a moment. She had brain surgery and they removed it and recovered find. All in Gods will. It was benign.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

At age 28 I found out that I had cancer. I asked my 4 sisters & my mom if they had their routine exams. My mother hadn't. She was in her 60's then. Because of my diagnosis mom got checked. She had a large tumor. She had surgery & radiation. I had surgery. If I had not gotten checked and gotten a diagnosis I feel my mom would have died. God did that! I am now 68. Mom lived till she was 82.

The day my dad got the phone call he started rejoicing and telling everyone "I'm going HOME!". 6 months later he was home in heaven. Thank you for your testimony and always sharing. Love and prayers.

I worked for an Oncologist and he never told patient over the phone. He would call them into the office and gave them news face to face.

Grandma, I'm a 3x cancer survivor. The first 2 were kidney, same kidney, and resulted in them finally taking my right one. The 3rd was just thus past September when they found breast cancer. This is how good God was. They biopsied the wrong spot , not the one they were watching which turned out to not be cancer, but the one they biopsied was! GOD IS GOOD

I know how that works. In 1996 I went to the hospital in awful pain. They said I had a kidney stone. After several hours they decided to do an ultrasound to see how many. There was only one small one. BUT they saw a gall stone. As soon as they said that I past the kidney stone. I had surgery to take out my gall bladder. After the surgery the doctor came in and told us if he hadn’t operated when he did I probably would have died. My gall bladder was ready to explode. I have always said God allowed that kidney stone so they could find the problem with my gallbladder. And I praise the Lord for the kidney stone. I will be keeping you in prayer. Keep us updated so we know how to pray for you. And Ralph.

Grandma, you are in my prayers for a full recovery. I’m a 16 year cancer survivor. Being discovered early is the scenario. Sounds like it was detected early. I’m glad it did not go undetected. Praise Jesus!

I'm going to add get your mammogram. I had one and they discovered a small lump. It was stage 0 breast cancer. They were able to remove it and I am now cancer free. No chemo or radiation required. I give the glory to God for letting it be discovered when it was. Prayers for you Leann,

I lost a child after many days after being born from an undiagnosed heart condition. I won't share here, details or all the Lord has done. I thank the Lord because Without that trial, I would never have that secure relationship and have a personal relationship with Jesus without the loss of my children. And I can praise the Lord for that blessing. Thank you LeeAnn for your wise words. I relate to absolutely to all that you shared. ❤

My husband passed away less than a month after his 30th birthday. They did an autopsy and couldn’t figure out why… they just knew he had a massive heart attack that hit him faster than he eve knew. He was sick a lot as a baby but they never figured it out back then. They thought it could have been something genetic so his dad had a vasectomy, just in case. His mom asked me if they could do genetic testing I agreed because he has an older brother and three nieces. He and I wanted children but God knew better. After the genetic testing came back they found a rare gene called the sudden death gene. The strain he had was extremely rare… they said both of his parents had to carry it. He passed 9/4/2017 I made a promise to myself and God that I wouldn’t get angry at God. Because no matter how short of a time that I was blessed to have him, I thank God for giving us that time. We prayed to have children but God knew better. If we would have we could have unknowingly continued to pass the gene down to more generations. I say all of that because they say God works in mysterious ways. Your kidney stone helped them find that mass before it became huge or attacked other organs or lymph nodes.

My sister was told 2 months ago she had 3-6 months to live. Cancer spread to liver, lymph nodes, and lung. She's been eating organic apricot seeds. Supposed to be toxic to cancer cells. Eat 3 per day. I told her doctors don't know how many days you're numbered. Only God does!! She just got moved back home here in Missouri...not a skip of rocks from you all. We're having fun. She's had some rough nights but we keep her busy. Prayers for you LeAnn and Ralph. Her name is Jo. Her husband is Terry. Just the funnest couple of people to hang out with. We get to go to church together now that she's here now!! So happy!!!

When in the video Grandma Doss said that Grandpa needed a song to sing Leave It as a command for the dogs, I immediately thought of the chorus to the old hymn, Leave It There. However, Grandma, you have proved that old hymn with your testimony. The chorus of the song goes "Leave it there, Leave it there. Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there. If you trust Him through your doubt, He will surely bring you out. Take your burdens to the Lord and leave it there." Perfect timing. My husband of 49 years had a biopsy Friday and we are awaiting results. We aren't asking for cancer, but we are waiting for results in the peace of Christ and can face whatever is ahead with His strength.

Please keep my sister in your prayers. She just found out she has breast cancer. They did surgery and found cancer in 5 lymph nodes. Will find out in two weeks if chemo is necessary.

I haven’t had cancer but my husband died four years ago with brain cancer. It was horrible watching him go from the man he was to what that disease did to his body and mind. He was ready to meet his maker to get that renewed body. If something happens to me I have peace knowing where my soul will rest. I had the same peace when my husband died. My primary care doc ordered all the testing done at my yearly visit. One of those tests was a mammogram. A suspicious area was found and I had to go back for a biopsy and then an MRI. The lump was so tiny that I couldn't even feel it. I had a lumpectomy and one lymph node and its been 6 years. I'm glad to see you are in a great mental space because it doesn't do anyone any good to panic or worry overmuch. Thank you for sharing your story. I'll pray for your family! I wish you the best and a fast recovery.💜💜💜💜

It strikes me funny because today I told my son-in-law that God put me here for a reason and when my time is up he will bring me home. I was diagnosed in 2018 with Cancer, I refused traditional treatment and have been taking care of my own health, my son in law has his beliefs and I have mine. LeaAnn, I’m sitting here in tears because I was literally thinking about this subject this morning! I’m not in a church right now but I do pray and worship at home! I have been praying for you! I wonder if it’s fibroid mass? I had a hysterectomy and my doctor asked me what to take and I said everything! Take it all! I had endometriosis and I still have a touch of it, but God is so good! I am over the pneumonia and doing okay. And you’re right! God is in control! I also know where I’m going! And I’m ready when he is! Lots of prayers for everyone! I had cancer too. Had a complete surgery. My cancer was serious. The doctors didn't know how it would end. I was borderline. That was 25 years ago. Keep in prayer and don't be afraid to ask people for continuous prayer for a good outcome. I will keep you in my prayers also. Just as a note. When I went for chemo, I always took my bible and tried to share with others my faith in God.

I have watched since Adler was still carried in Chad’s arms to feed the Beefy Boys, and I still find great joy seeing all of the animals and your relationship with them. Your humor is uplifting and lighthearted and is much appreciated, especially when there is a great deal of hatred and evil in the world. The love you both have for family is a shining example of loving your babies, no matter how tall or how old they are. Faith is essential, and without faith life would be overwhelming. Thank you for sharing your relationship with Christ. As Leanne said, sometimes God’s blessings come to us in unexpected ways. I went in after my kidney stone. My protein level was high. I was immediately sent to an oncologist. On a very early Saturday morning I was sitting in my car, waiting for my granddaughters water polo game to begin. The test results posted on My Chart. I literally was winded by multiple myeloma, but, so thankful 🙏🏼 and prayed gratitude to know why I had been so sick. My faith gives me strength and calmness as I navigate through this. I am now praying deeply for you. And, what about those rascally kidney stones?!…🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer when I was 39. I had a mastectomy, followed by chemotherapy, followed by radiation. They weren't able to do reconstructive on me. That was 24 years ago. I turned it over to God, and my doctor even told me that a lot of my recovery was due to my faith and positive outlook. I am praying for you, LeAnn. You and God have got this. Hi Grandma and Grandpa, my husband is recovering from gallstones and the doctors also found a benign tumor requiring a whipped surgery. You can look it up to see what it consist of. He is recovering well and almost finished but it took many weeks. He’s doing good. I am praying that Grandma is completely healed by the grace of God in the name of Jesus Christ. ❤

When I found out that I had cancer, I asked my Auntie Liz, (she was my Prayer warrior) for some of her Prayer oil. My First appointment I went to before the doctor said anything I asked him if he didn’t mind if I put some Prayer oil on his hand and asked if he also didn’t mind if I said a short Prayer to ask God if he could be our Guidance 🙏🙏🙏 I did that with every chemo and radiation treatment even with the Surgeons, Nurses, CNA’S and my Caseworker, they all welcomed my Faith in Jesus. I am in Remission for about 15 years now, Praise the Lord 🙏 you are on my Prayer list Gramma Doss 🙏 our Lord will Bless you and have his hand 🤚🏼 on every Medical person that you meet 🙏 AMEN 🙏 ❤ Love you all and Thank you Chad for introducing me to your Family ❤

I have kidney pain. Had a cat scan Friday. Waiting to hear from the urologist. I have had kidney stones, before. Will see. But, I have an interstim. The manual says I cannot have lithotrypsy any more. Been drinking lots of lemon juice. Prayers accepted. Thanks. Yes, leave it at the feet, of Jesus.

It is Gods decision. My son’s mum in law, who I am close to, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer last February and she died last week. She was 80 and loved the Lord and knew where she was going. The hope we have when we belong to Jesus is wonderful and gives peace. Xx

When I had my brain surgery (2 aneurysms right side of brain) in 2019 I felt so peaceful as I scooted over to the operating table ... I gave it all to God. The surgery took longer than what was expected but the outcome was good. Ralph you are a good man to stand by your wife. My husband didn't even drive me to the hospital on the day of the surgery. I don't know what I would have done without my son, who was 49 at the time, who stayed by me until I woke up and I told him to go home to get some rest (he is not well himself). I praise God all the time for the blessings He has bestowed upon me.
