@@squamish4244 Agreed that future technologies could lead to huge breakthroughs in studying the nature of the mind (or maybe not as it is from a physical perspective). But that doesn't discount the validity of discovering the mind through meditation. This might be the only way to discover it. How else can you study something without observing the phenomenon itself...?

​​@@ugyen1955 Alan Wallace is indeed saying that. Valar is not though. Valar is saying that technology (his mind's creation) can better know his mind than what his mind can😄 He's not prepared to put in the hours himself and so he's hoping that technology will figure it out for him before he dies having come to an island of inexhaustible jewels only to fail to take even a spec of one with him smh. He actually believes that you could have a dream and while you're dreaming, you can create something that can contain both the dream and the dreamer 😄🤦‍♂️
