You never had anything on this scale in the UK at that time. Piers were for alighting from boats over here. Cruising went on in Hampstead Heath and gay bars.
I know. It's sad. If only we had found out and known about AIDS/HIV back then and that it would be coming in a year or two from then. more of them would probably at least lived a lot longer than they did, since many of them we see here probably caught the disease. :(
Best advice I can give you and the other guy who just commented me is find one person you're attracted to and stay with them. Not as exciting that way but it saves lives. Don't fuck all over town or you will pay the price.

Of course they did. I don't think his comment indicated that he believes they didn't. That said, HIV/AIDS decimated a large swath of gay men, a higher proportion than any other group with the exception of hemophiliacs.

Has definitely changed it's more space but still so beautiful I just wish the young little gay rachets would stay away I can't say how many times I've tried to take a picture and some random gay decided to jump in my pic or there has been a damn fight or someone almost dying of drugs shit one time ...I was out there and some dude jumped in the water they said he was trying to kill himself idk but omg smh wasn't like that before its shit now
