Re-watching this after Amaury layed down two of the greatest winning runs in history back to back in 2024.... The Pilot part 2 will be even more riveting.

This came on autoplay and I ended up watching the whole thing instead of playing Zelda.That proves how good this was I think! Amaury has been my fave rider since I got into downhill. To see him go through all those injuries and come back even better is really inspiring.

C'est pour ça qu'on aime ce sport ! Nous avons découvert tout le processus de création du V5 avec "This Is Us" (au passage incroyable). Maintenant un focus sur Amaury Pierron dans ce film / documentaire que dis-je chef-d'oeuvre ! On passe part tous les états de la joie, à la tristesse de voir que mentalement Pierron n'est pas au top et qu'il essaie de tout donner malgré tout. L'une des meilleurs partis selon moi c'est l'étape de World Cup à Gets ! Ayant été spectateur sur place, juste en revoyant les images toutes les émotions qui remonte c'est fou ! Un triplet français sur cette étape ce n'est dû jamais vu ! La folie, la fierté que d'être Français et de voir tous ces athlètes sur le podium. (Merci à David Douillet d'avoir essayé de décrédibiliser notre sport...) Une réalisation by Sleeper Collective des artistes dans le domaine ! Un montage d'une perfection folle. Bref tout est fou dans ce doc merci à tous de nous faire vivre ceci. Un grand bravo à toute l'équipe Commencal pour pousser encore plus loin chaque fois ce sport. ENG : That's why we love this sport! We discovered the whole V5 creation process with "This Is Us" (incredible, by the way). Now we focus on Amaury Pierron in this film/documentary, or rather masterpiece! We go through all the states of joy, to the sadness of seeing that mentally Pierron isn't at his best, and that he's trying to give it his all in spite of everything. One of the best parts for me was the World Cup stage in Gets! Having been a spectator there, just looking back at the images brings back all the emotions, it's crazy! A French triplet on this stage is unheard of! It's madness and pride to be French and to see all these athletes on the podium. (Thanks to David Douillet for trying to discredit our sport...) Produced by Sleeper Collective, artists in their field! Insanely perfect editing. In short, everything in this doc is crazy. Thank you all for bringing this to life. I've seen alot of people come up through the ranks over the years but watching amaury to me was mental I seen the start of the lac blanc team and I said to some friends the dude gonna win a championship and they laughed and looked at me like I was nuts and boom look who's Mr 2x overall champ amazing to hear it in story

I feel we definitely need more of this kind of movies! For me it is unbelievable what these guys and girls are capable of. I am a big fan of motorsport (rallying especially) but Downhill Riders are just on another level of insanity. Almost no protection going flat out over rocks, stumps and crazy jumps... I want more! :)

The raw emotion was palpable. Not just fighting to win; fighting to be error-free; risking your long-term health; reaching higher and higher. I hope you stay healthy Amaury. Keep fit. Keep safe. Keep well.
