Danny Mercer I like the rose gold phone a lot but the lap top to me looks different. I don't know if it's because there is more colour than on the phone or what but I would Def consider buying this colour. I decided on the regular gold because I like the look of it more. I hate the gold iPhone but in my opinion the gold mac looks great! So you can save a little bit more battery life on the useful things rather than having something that does absolutely nothing and taking up battery life.

+TheOsanity I do my regular browsing, my Office stuff, school work, some photoshop and light video editing, etc. Again, it's not aimed to be a powerhouse that'll do 4K video editing and plug in all your peripherals, it's meant to be useful for day to day activities for the regular user. It's compact, light, and looks damn good. It's borderline a niche market, but Apple does that a lot. I feel like the MacBook is a test bed for what's to come. I'm sure they'll implement the USB C standard on the Pros (albeit with more than 1) and slim down the designs across the board. Time will tell, for now it's a bit overpriced but that's nothing new for Apple!

Fabio Mota exactly it’s fine for everyone but him because he does video editing. Otherwise performance is very fast, battery life is amazing and everything else is honestly perfect. If you think it’s overpriced just buy it in good condition used or even refurbished ( what’s I did)

Gary Singh I love mine, currently on travel for a business convention. long battery life, light, fits easily in carry on and in the hotel safe. no performance whatsoever for the use I've with this laptop. PCI-E storage is very fast, nice resolution. I'm just not a fan of the keyboard. that's my only complaint.

Brawndo For me the biggest issue with the laptop would be the keyboard. It is just plain not good enough for me to use on a day to day basis. They should have just added usb type c ports to the macbook air and updated the screen.

It's not about the money you need for paying for the adapters. It's the fact itself that you need to use an adapter to have a usb-a port that is the problem. Having a usb-c port is great but it's the fact that, especially right now, having ONLY usb-c, and the fact that you only have one, AND the fact that it's the only charging port that is an issue.

Firstly, some people prefer a mouse instead of a track pad. But that's not what this is about - the point is you shouldn't need to purchase an accessory to do basic things like plug in a mouse to a computer - the device itself should already have that functionality. It would have made way more sense to add a type-a port and make it a little bit thicker. Just look at all the ultra thin windows laptops with multiple ports.
