I like to think that this version of the pink panther is the dad of the newer version, like this one smokes, fights with middle aged men, has alcohol present in many episodes, in the newer one the pink panther jams to music, play with kids on the football field, and does stuff teenagers do, so I just thought "hey, why not? It would be funny if the original panther had a son who is exactly like him and the main antagonist is just the same painter guy from episode one"
I still carry around the memory of when KBHK channel 44, used to have the 'Pink Panther' episodes. That's in the syndication market, back then in 1983.
You have to remember that Pink Panther is surreal so most of what you see in it has no logical explanation, so we just enjoy it and don't over think it.
I like the Pink Panther themed spy sound music for the cartoon gives a mysterious and intriguing rhythm to the short, but I can't understand why the Panther is living inside a safe in an office.
Ja ja ja, me encanta!! Es de mis episodios favoritos, por esa combinacion de musica entre la Pantera y el Inspector, Genial!! Felicidades! Muchas gracias x el video, saludos...
Gotta wonder how a balloon that was blown up with air and not helium was able to lift up a safe. Cartoon logic, I guess. I LMAO when Pink popped the balloon, causing the safe to fall on top of the thief, flattening him like a pancake!
Afterwards, the police found the burglar all burned and stunned, as well as pieces of what was once a safe. Wondering if it was a burglary gone wrong, the officers quietly arrest the man without incident. The only clue they could find, albeit slightly burnt, was a single strand of pink fur, the only item in the safe, which still baffled the police to this day.
