Literally that JJ skit with Joker and Batman and Joker was doing stand-up and made the joke about the cure innocent girl becoming sexy at midnight lmao.
I mean, it's only been like... three years? But yeah. Of course he's gotta wait on her hand and foot. She can barely walk thanks to him. (Honestly, he was probably just trying to get a rise out of her so she'd reveal herself.)
An the thing is, that well was literally just behind the house while Koby and the marines were in the front. That means Zoro literally made a full circle around the house instead of just walking a few steps in lmao
@@gabrieldossantos1116considering he is basically incapable of following someone or going up some stairs that have been pointed out to him, that is no surprise coming from Zoro lol
Actually Garp appears as early as in East Blue lol. In the anime, he only had a 5 minute segment and like one episode dedicated to him in that time. In the manga, he only appeared on the chapter covers. Neither gave much character information on him other than he was some high ranking marine and he was training Koby. In those appearances he was arresting Axe-hand morgan and enlisting Koby. Axe hand Morgan actually managed to escape from Garp by cutting him down (this only happened because Garp was standing in front of him asleep. Garp didn’t even realize he was cut 🤣). So yeah Garp was here very early on but he was just treated as some random obscure side character who seemingly had no other purpose but to add to Koby’s character development.
@@milesnevarez993 Nah, there was nothing to suggest he killed her. I think the point of her dying in such a mundane, plain way is to emphasize that sometimes that just happens. No matter how good you are, or how lofty your ambitions and dreams are, there's always a chance you could just suddenly die from a fall, or a sickness, or an accident, etc... So why bother living in reservations about your dream, get out there and achieve it while you still can! I think that also ties into why (in the anime/manga) Zoro fighting Mihawk is such an eye opening moment for Sanji. Sanji is afraid to take the risk of trying to achieve his dream, while Zoro will put everything on the line without hesitation because he's seen his friend lose her dream before she ever had a chance. Or Oda just thought it was a quick and simple way to kill her off 😅
@@Feeble_cursed_one someone from a cartoon that can jump incredibly high, have ultra instincts and shit, no, she shouldnt die from falling from the stairs
It’s funny Sheera said Ussop can’t leave cause he’s waiting for his dad as a joke when that’s literally why he didnt wanna leave and why he kept lying saying the pirates are coming cause he literally wanted his dad it was explained more in the manga but i get why they didn’t really touch on it too much in the live action cause it’s speed up which is also good lol
9:39 Why should she? She sees "Klahadore" almost as a second father, she cares about him and believes that he cares about her. She thinks she's safe with him, she thinks she has nothing to fear.
Oda has a plan for that, I'm sure. He could just say "No" and the scene and storyline would be changed. But he decided it is important to reveal Garp early this time around.
@@sinisterpanda2738 I don't think a really late reveal would work in this format, which is why they do reveals about Shanks crew, Buggy, fishmen slavery, etc. fairly upfront instead of waiting possibly DECADES before it reaches Live Action. Probably trying to just have every Live Action season end be a good enough ending on it's own.
I haven't seen the anime or read the manga (feel free to correct me) but when I found out Kuina died by falling down the stairs I thought it was meant as all her potential lost so suddenly. Not in a grand battle, not a dramatic event, simply an accident and all she could become was gone. Seems even more significant for Zoro to achieve his goal 'cause she never even got the chance
11:42 she beat a Belgian actor by name of Tom Waes who had three month of training in boxing! More than likely he tired himself out because he was out of shape😂, on top top of that she was a world class kick boxing champions.
I kinda wish Usopp had more action and helped Luffy with taking out Kuro with his Sniper abilities. Other than that I really liked the episode, love the haunted house vibes and Zoro’s backstory was really good. We are also introduced to a formidable opponent, Down D. Stairs.
R.I.P. Merry which is interesting that they killed him off which might indicate that if future seasons they will officially kill off other characters, & with that kiss Shippers must be happy. Here are some Easter Eggs in this Episode: - Zoro in the well maybe a reference to him being stuck on that hill in the manga / anime or Mihawk’s frog in the well line to him - The kitchen has a dog design to contrast the Black Cat Pirates - Shimotsuki is mentioned 3 times one when we see the Village along this the Shimotsuki clan symbol on the flag, Kuina states that’s her name during her promise, & is on the map during the End Credits - I noticed this but if you look at Buchi’s face you can see that around his left eye is lighter this is maybe because of his mask / helmet & just as a notice but while they were disguised as a chef & maid their weapons are hidden on them like Sham uses a broom as a sheath to her sword - If you look at the area of the mansion that Zoro was fighting Sham & Buchi there is a painting of the Oro Jackson, an Elbaf ship, & images of Sea Beasts on the ceiling - Sham uses cat burglar ability to steal the Wado & when Buchi tries to stomp Zoro is in his Cat the Funjyatta technique - When Usopp got scared by that taxidermy animal it looks like it belongs on the Island of Rare Animals in particular it reminds me of Cocox (Fox & Rooster hybrid) - During Kunia’s funeral notice that she just like Ace had 3 sake cups - After getting the Merry both Nami & Zoro’s outfit are based on the ones they are wearing on Ch.28 color spread - As the Going Merry was sailing off you can hear “We Are!” - Usopp’s Jolly Roger is just like the one he created in the anime / manga but with one distinct difference
9:35 Merry did and he shot Usopp with it, who gets thrashed all throughout this arc in the anime/manga. Meanwhile the Netflix Usopp gets away with a scratch and a kiss🤣🤣🤣
I just got done watching episode 320, around the area where garp confirms to the straw hats that he’s Luffy’s grandfather, crazy to see it so early in love action
i was a good runner in highschool. state champ and everything, did well at regionals too, but when i moved up to nationals i got owned and i certainly couldn't compete on the world level. was still proud of how far i got. the truth is though, my times were faster than the olympic world records for women at the same distances... join reality please. it doesn't mean you hate equality or women, it means you prefer accepting the truth instead of fantasy.
An early One Piece theory I saw being thrown around alot is that Kurina offed herself once she got Zoro to carry on her dreams. Apparently, saying someone "fell down the stairs" in Japan is an expression used to refer to one offing themself.
That’s a debunked theory since there’s no evidence that “fell down the stairs” is a euphemism for suicide in Japan. I think it stems from fans wanting her death to have more meaning but it already does in Zoro’s motivation to become the greatest swordsman.
they built all 4 of the major ships fully functional to make it more authentic Garp’s ship, the Go Merry, Alveda’s ship , and the first ship that Nami stole from buggy pirates. This also adds to the realism for the interior shots of the ships.
As far as I remember, Lupa left the One Piece series at Water 7 arc. Which means, the Garp being the grandfather spoiler is new to Lupa HAHAHA that's why he said "that's random" hahahahaha one of the biggest spoiler here in live action
So hammocks were basically invented for boats. It sways back and forth always keeping you center when the boat is getting smacked around like a red headed stepchild.
25:20 How can he remember what he hasn’t learned yet? You said he stopped right before Water 7. The fact that Garp is Luffy’s grandpa isn’t revealed until the Post-Enies Lobby Arc, which is two arcs later.
They probably didn’t do it because they didn’t want to be canceled lol! I’m surprised they did them and skipped Jango (considering he has more appearances down the line). I would’ve LOVED to see a backwards walking hypnosis.🚶♂️ But I can understand that being unappealing in live action format.
I think the biggest problem is that with the amount of stuff they need get through and the (relative) unimportance of many of the early villains they probably found it was easy to cut down their screen time. Definitely would've liked the beach fight, but I can see why they didn't include it.
@@OfficialEdwardNewgateman don’t pay him no mind lol all he does is post negative comments about the show under every video. He said the CW flash shows have better CGI😂
