I've been holding off on this for various reasons (mostly because my magic spending has outpaced my magic practicing (Damn you, Jay Sankey!😝), but I have ulnar nerve damage in my right hand (cell phone elbow, believe it or not!) and this pass looks doable, regardless. I am a member of Danny’s Guild, and I can assure you that he is not abusing his position. I have seldom come across as ethical a magic teacher as Danny. (BTW -I hold you,Steve, in the same high ethical esteem.) I can attest that my ability with coins has improved manifold since I have joined the Guild. Of course, no one can be expected to learn all his material as fast as his mind can come up with it, but we are all free to pick and chose what we do or don’ t buy. The reason I like his material, specifically, is because he shares his philosophy and reasoning behind each move. He goes deeper into that material than anyone I’m aware of, which increases the value of anything he puts out beyond the value of “a single move,” at least for me.
Steve, what you said really made me think. You wouldn't have thought that any new coin moves were possible. I mean .. coins have been around for a little while now so surely they've all been invented........ And then Danny comes along!
Danny is top notch and I am still working on a number of his videos (Mythos. Modus, Homage etc) and all are exceptional and require a great deal of practice to achieve as smoothly as Danny. I never expected to reach his degree of expertise and at 78 with somewhat arthritic fingers have concluded that I never will. but in combination with many things from Copeland , his instruction should last for the rest of my life. I did purchase this one and must truly say that I will never ever get to do this. It is way too difficult. Merely sticking to some of his other work on retention vanish is about all I can deal with and am able to accomplish with a fair degree of expertise. This one is not in my queue and will more than likely never be watched again.
A totally credible review...showing your practice "session" is the perfect touch. You deliver more than enough information for potential buyers to know this will take some, maybe a lot of practice. This is not for me, but anybody who see's your review and purchases the download should be totally satisfied.
@@artmartello I don't have the Modus project, but all this is a combination of timing and muscle memory. Just keep coming back to it. One day it will just click!
