Yes exactly! I was about to comment this and I’m glad someone has mentioned it - there are so many queens in other provinces / territories, especially in rural areas! Canada has such a wide variety of queens to choose from!

@@fernpellerin8188 , there are active drag scenes in rural areas of Canada? I ask not because I don't believe you but because I'm surprised. Here in the US you don't see much gay culture in rural communities, 'cause those areas can be aggressively conservative and religious.

@@janeeyre1990 As someone from rural Texas who moved to Canada years ago, I find that there can be smaller and creative drag scenes in small areas. My partner is from Labrador and there may not be any queens, but there is a small LGBT community, and that goes for many other areas in Canada. I think I worded it a bit strangely, so I apologize! I think just highlighting drag and art from smaller LGBT folks across Canada would be something more interesting to me going forward rather than the top drag performers in Toronto. (Don't get me wrong, they're super talented and amazing! I just think having folks from all over would be more entertaining to watch, especially if they are Black, Indigenous or People of Colour - It would just be amazing to have a larger platform to discuss their experiences as LGBT folks in areas outside of Toronto / Ontario)

Toronto girls really are the New York girls of Canada !! I really hope we get to see more queens from different areas !! Although I'm also rooting for some girls from my city to get on haha

yep, I'm from toronto and there's great queens here no doubt but they could have definitely diversified a bit, theres drag talent all over Canada. It would have been great to see some lesser known queens get the opportunity to be on the show, so many of these queens were already local legends (rightfully so, no shade at them they're very talented) before the show
