Nkcubeko Vuntu you have to admit that at this point it’s Valentina’s telenovela with leading protagonists Valentina, Manila, and Trinity. She might not be slaying every challenges, but she keeps being one of the most entertaining characters. She’s turning peoples opinions on her and getting the Alyssa Edwards AS2 edit, which is one of the best to get. I mean the deliberation is probably the best tv we have gotten from the show since AS2. And that’s all props to Val and Manila.

I know how stupid this sounds but she left such a terrible impression in her season that it is almost like she broke my trust hahaha because I see her now behaving like a normal human drag queen and I just don't buy it!

I think she just grew up... she was pretty young in s6 and so many young gay folks who are rejected by cishet society really immerse themselves into gay culture and slang before growing into themselves. Laganja really grew into her own person but you can still hear her tongue pops and an occasional mama because she wasn't fake, it was just a phase of her growth. In season 6 I felt bad for her because I saw a younger version kf myself in her (still annoying af) but I'm very happy to see she's become herself this much.

Though I wish the producers wouldn't rush out All Stars seasons like they have because of AS2's success, they feel very haphazard and half-assed with a cast including queens that weren't really that notable. Let's hope AS5 has some AMAZING competition and contestants, like Laganja! :D

manila thinks of herself as an old dinosaur from an aged old era of drag race but you have to remember how CLOSE it was for her to get the crown, her and raja were virtually equals in the end and the outcome was merely a choice of aesthetic. raja was editorial and cultured and knew her references i.e. 90s supermodels and fashion which was definitely up ru's avenue and they merely figured manila had a little more growing to do considering her cartoonish kitschy drag to be a little... immature? so seeing manila demolish even a fierce strong competitor like trinity in the lip sync shouldnt be too much of a gag, its just been years for manila to prove herself again

Her snatch game was an absolute mess. Valentina and Gia both did too much and completely missed the point of Snatch game with their performances. They fully deserved to be in the bottom and it was far from a surprise when they ended up there.
