Russ is QB. That's already established. Justin is too fast to standby, so I can see him getting reps somehow. It would definitely put teams defenses on alert having someone like Fields' come in on special plays. I hope the young QB is open to that because it would make our Offense more than just run-one dimensional. I want to see play action and trick plays. Run opens up pass game but so does that play action/trick play stuff. We got a QB in Russ who has proven ability to execute that style on gamedays.

He didn’t be a gimmicky player. See him playing 4th quarter minutes when the Steelers build big leads, and I think the offense will be designed to be very explosive and allow Fields to play significant minutes.

There must be something we don’t know about Darnell Washington. Guy looked like an absolute beast at the combine; he’s an insane physical specimen, and yet there’s nothing coming out of OTA’s that would hint at him becoming any kind of significant part of this offense

My concern is Art is literally only gonna use him as a blocker. Which sucks because he’s so good at that but is such a beast and can catch

They don't need to use a top pick on a wr. They can maybe us a 3rd or 4th rd to get a solid veteran that fits Smith's scheme. They already have a couple of Wr's with speed and that is going to help when teams sellout to stop rhe run .

Russ starts as QB, Fields takes over. If not by the second half of the year, then definitely next year.

Maybe…maybe not. I have a feeling Russ is going to kill it this year. Fields won’t beat out Russ. The only way he starts any games is if Russ gets hurt, and Russ has only missed 5 games and starts in 12 years to injury. He went 10.33 seasons without missing a single game or start, and it took a gruesome throwing hand injury in 2021 that would’ve knocked out most QBs for the season just to make him miss three games. To be fair, he should’ve sat out the rest of that season, but he came bash and played well to have that injury. It was more serious than most people let on…the kind of game injury that could end a QB’s career.

If things go smoothly, I think we could be top 10 offense this year. We already have a top 10 defense and it’s time we win meaningful games again.

I really hope they dont try to make fields a gimmicky thing wilson is getting old its a fact it would be a shame for the Steelers to lose fields for 1 or two years of wilson as he declines

Well, you don’t get is that the Steelers do not need to make any more moves. They have plenty of talent on the team right now and they need to work with what they have. There’s no oh they’re going to be making moves. There’s going to be nothing that you’re hoping when it comes to wide receivers because the Steelers are perfectly comfortable with where they are at. And I am too as a diehard Steelers fan. I hate these teams in any sport that brings superstar players to their team instead of trying to build chemistry with what they have and build, a team with what they have there’s no reason for the Steelers to go ahead and grab these superstar wide receivers. It would make any sense at all. I generation superstar teams may make sense to you, but I grew up with the mindset and as a sports fan that appreciates teams that develop and build the chemistry.

Like you saw the Chicago Bulls Michael Jordan didn’t win a championship until his second year, but that Chicago Bulls team was the same players from when he first joined the team I like teams that lose together and then the same players there start winning together that’s what it’s all about chemistry. There’s no need for the Steelers to go ahead and get a superstar receiver when they have young star receivers that can turn into superstars. So I’m done watching any of your videos until you stop talking about Steelers to get a wide receiver, cause I’m honestly tired of hearing that.

They already have a superstar in Pickens I need a solidified vet dude. Examples , Gallup to LV, zay Jones , DJ chark, etc . Someone with more than 1 szn about 500 receiving yards (no one but Pickens on Steelers roster)

But what I’m saying is the Pittsburgh Steelers are really good at developing wide receivers I mean they’re already talking about Calvin Austin being a number two wide receiver he’s fully capable of doing that with a better quarterback like Russell Wilson same for Roman Wilson you can’t count him out he hasn’t played one NFL snap. I’m just saying I hate teams trying to super teams when they can work with what they have

@@DaRedeyeJedi808 I think they have great leadership already with the veterans that’s on the team like Russell Wilson. I don’t really think that they need wide receiver veterans. I think they will be fine building chemistry together learning from one another and go off the leadership that is already on the team not to mention Mike Tomlin is really great at developing wide receivers. You saw what he did with Antonio Brown, Mike, Wallace and Hayward.
