On the phone it looks great, but the webcam picture on the desktop app looks worse than my webcam. Anyone else? Enabled developer mode and got it working wired via USB (checked by disabling wifi and sim so it couldn't connect wirelessly) and it's super downgrading the quality on the app. I don't know if they want you to buy the app or what.
Does white balance work for you? It seems to default to 5000K, and if I attempt to adjust it either on the phone or on the PC ivcam freezes. Eventually I just changed the color temp on my lights to 5000K, instead of the normal 5600K I use with ivcam and my iPad air.
@@jasonjamerson I'm not sure if it was an update to the desktop app, the Android app, or to my phone itself, but everything works now. On the computer make sure to click the Auto icon in settings until it changes to the lock icon, then you can adjust the color temp.
This is the phone I have. I'm a singer and can't seem to get the accompaniment music to video from my sound card. I can hear the muaic and my mic mxing in my monitor earphone's. Its just not translating together into video. Can you help me understand what I might be doing wrong?
I just got the pixel 7 and was looking for a use or my pixel 6 and you really got me with the quality of showing camera and recording this video with the pixel 6. Thanks !
So, when I activate developer mode etc etc, I can plug in my pixel via USB, and turn my wifi off, and it will still work? For some reason, I cannot get it to go through USB as it turns off when I turn my wifi off..
Great video, I plan on using the 6 pro for streaming cooking content, thanks for all the great tips, Brendan. How would I go adding the Google 7 to the mix? What do you recommend for streaming and mixing 2 phones.
That's a great question! The longest I've had the phone plugged in with the camera feed to my PC is about 2 hours. In that time the phone got fairly warm (as I expected it to) but never came across any overheating warnings or extreme temperatures.
The software I have (iVCam) caps out at 1440 60fps. There is DroidCam but I can't remember what the max was for that. But the phone can obviously output it, it's just a matter of finding software that will accept the 4K feed.
