my father let me watch this when i was little... completly traumatized, i had horrible nightares for years, i finally forgor about it, the i see the movi poster on a site... i litterallyhad a shock of fear, then i explained the movie to a friend, and while doing that i remembered it all, i completely broke down and had a panick attack even now that im 19 years old, that movie scarred me for life :'( so did watershipdown, so violent

Thank You for doing this. I read the book. ( Watership Down as well, both very emotional, for me anyway.) I later saw both films while in High School. The Plague Dogs film ends before the actual end of the story per the book. If not a Happy ending , then perhaps a more hopeful one. The feelings I have from both the of the books (And films.) have been a part of me all my life and attitudes to this day. An awesome pairing with this great song. Thank You. Karl^..^ AKA Lostwolf

This is truly wonderful. This song is a part of my youth, but I only discovered the Plague Dogs last year. I never made the connection between the two, but you bridged the gap between the two so beautifully. Thanks for creating this video.

I was seeing it as a kid bc the stations were thinking 'it is a cartoon, so what'. Thank god I was able to know this masterpieces like watership down and animal farm at this time. It sharpens my sense of of society and the world when I was ten years.

What a brilliant video to one of the most powerful and heartwrenching book ever wrote, this film brought me to tears, the ending in the film is somewhat more powerful than the book ending. Fab video, I also agree with your opinion animal testing should be stopped.

I never heard of this movie until just now, and I'm already interested in it. I hear this movie came out in 1982, and its based on a novel. I must say though, while the story is a bit disturbing on how messed up human society is, the animation is quite impressive for its time.

@tintin8ify What do thoughts look like to you when you think are they physical objects that appear as letters in front of you or does it appear to be nothing but is seen regardless so I would say the mind is not a thing so nothing I would say. If you start being more aware of your mind you will start to realize that you're observing the mind and in that creates the awareness that you're the awareness itself without you there would be no experience to be aware of this is the root of the self.

yeah the original book's ending was a bit inconclusive, did they die or not? but in later editions of the book, the ending was changed to the dogs being rescued by snitter's master who is alive after all, and they both go to live with him, happy ever after. too good to be true really but the first ending is very grim and sad. surprised that the film makers chose that version..

The point is not whether or not we have similar DNA, it's whether or not we can observe that our actions are torturous and without a relevant benefit. Deciding that we are superior to another life form and using our own proclamation as a justification for unqualified cruelty only evidences how immature we are as a species.
