Guys, please, note that I only composed the vid for my friend. The drawings are not mine, but her. I just wanted it to become a little animation, 'cause this is too great to leave it in still-images. If you want to tell something nice to the creator, you may do it in her blog: www.puzzlekick.tumblr.com/
I'm actually kind of curious of the decision to have Papyrus as the Pharaoh and Sans as Moses, and also perhaps a bit more of the story behind all this as I'm sure just wouldn't simply be a retelling of Moses from the Bible.
Arin Adler the only word that would describe this is... Not invented yet. It's soo beautiful!!! The images the music It all fits into eachother! Amazing job
Possible backstory: After the death of Chara and Gaster, Papyrus loses faith and declares war on humanity. Sans of course is disgusted by this, saying that each human that falls should be judged according to their actions. However, Sans does not lock himself away entirely in the ruins; he occasionally makes the trip up to the castle in order to plead with his brother to turn from his ways. After a few vocal rejections, Sans decides it's time to take action and deals a blow to the stability of the kingdom each time Papyrus refuses to turn. Were it not for Frisk falling and saving the underground, Sans would have collapsed the kingdom entirely, leaving it in anarchy.
So Sans is Moses and Papyrus is.... His Egyptian brother huh. Papyrus is not bad!!! My Cinnamon Roll or little noodle. Edit:Yea ye.... I know that Paps is bad here!I am just referring to the original game! Please stop telling me that he is bad in this AU because I already know that! I am glad thats over.....
Yo Arin, i got some cool lyrics King Papyrus: You who i called brother, how could you have come to hate me so? is this what you wanted? Chorus:I send the swarm, i send the horde King Papyrus: Then let my heart be hardened, i never mind how high the cost may grow, this will still be so... ( Watch this, different lyrics ) King Papyrus: I will have the last.... of......human....soul! Chorus: Thus saint the lord! Sans: Thus saint the looooord!!........... Let...the....huuuuman....gooooooooo!! King Papyrus: I will have the last.... of......huuuuman....soooooooooul!!
Wouldn't it be quite sad that the pharaoh and moses were actually brothers in thet story Also has anyone noticed that gaster at first looked like sans then looked like papyrus once he got older
I have so many chills right now. That. was. AMAZING!!! The song is so powerful on its own, but the visuals and relationship that Sans has with Papyrus just added all the more to that. Astounding job; this is just so incredible!!!
When the other brother's part came up, I legit thought that somebody actually did an amazing impression of Papryus's voice and that this whole song was a cover. This is great.
Theory: It shows three skeleton children (maybe it's a young Gaster, I don't know) and when the third brother died because of humans Papyrus became angry with loss and grief and made war with the humans. Sans who was still very sad from the loss tried to reason with him but was ignored. He left for the ruins, going out for food and to see close friends like Grillby but kept hidden. He sent notes and begged his brother to stop but he wouldn't. So he took action and started a war between the two brothers to free the people and to stop all the death...... but what neither brother knew was that their was a certain black flower who missed his brothers dearly but couldn't find away to get to them. So he stayed hidden till a human child by the name of Frisk fell down and was able to help them all.
This fandom is EVERYWHERE and will absorb EVERYTHING... I mean this is good, like really good, but why this song? I never thought I'd see religion (well kinda) mix with the undertale fandom...
Lyrics: I send the pestilence and plague Into your house into your bed, Into your streams into your streets, Into your drink into your bread, Upon your cattle, Upon your sheep Upon your oxen in your field Into your dreams. In your sleep, Until you break until you yield I send the swarm I send the horde Thus saith the lord Sans/Moses: Once I called you brother Once I thought the chance to make you laugh was all I ever wanted... Background: I send the thunder from the sky I send the fire raining down. Sans: And even now, I wish that god had chose another, serving as your for on his behalf, was the last thing I wanted.... Background: I send a hail of burning ice On ev'ry field on ev'ry town Sans: This was my home All this pain and devastation how it tortures me inside All the innocent who suffer, from your stubborn was and pride. Background: I send the locusts on the wind, such as the world has never seen On ev'ry leaf on ev'ry stalk until there's nothing left of green. Chorus: I send my scourge I send my sword. Thus saith the lord Sans: You who I called brother, why must you call down another blow? Background: I send my scourge I send my sword Sans: Let my people go Background: Thus saith the lord Sans: Thus saith the lord Papyrus: You who I called brother, how could you have come to hate me so? Background: I send the swarm I send the horde Papyrus: Then let my heart be hardened And nevermind how high the cost may grow This will still be so: I will never let your people...go. Background: Thus saith the lord Sans: Thus saith the lord. Papyrus: I will not let your (Sans: my) people ...go...
Very well done. The Art is magnificent and truly makes me believe this is real. The setting and mood is perfectly executed. The character roles are good, the voices are very well suited especially for Papyrus. Over all great, I have easily listened and watched to this all day.
Genevieve Holbrook God struck him. Technically. Sans (aka Moses) had nothing to do with it, he infact wants him out of there. I don't think Grillby nessecarily "lost" anything, rather he was affected by these "plagues", thus causing him to fall into great pain. Such pain that he isn't able stand. Doing all he can to hold on. It's also instinct to tense up and grab places of possible pain.
