When I paint and detail my FOV 1:32 models I like to give them that "Been in combat" look. I imagine what the vehicle/figures would have looked like after days or weeks in combat. For one thing, they would be dirty, same with their uniforms which would have a worn, torn look. The movies made soon after the war are a great source of inspiration. Watch, "Battleground", to see what I mean. On some of my figures, I even give them a mustache, very popular back then, and a week-old beard. As a final real-life look, I give my figures different hair colors. My German with his helmet removed looks great with his blond hair.

I just purchased the Mars US infantry in winter uniforms. First time I've bought any Mars sets. I've always been reluctant to buy any because of all the mold lines and some weird poses, but these look a lot better so I'm taking a chance.

I absolutely love the Panther Ausf F and E75 tank conversion you did, considering the Panther F is my favourite variant 👍 I would love to see a E50 and Maus at sometime

Aeroplane buffs also have "Luftwaffe '46"

Enjoyed this one a lot! I don’t care much for prototype tanks tbh but the Mars Luftwaffe are one of my favorite sets ever! Maybe I should get a new set of those to try some of those conversions. I see that you replaced the TSSD bases, why? Are they compatible with Mars of you do that? Also, great conversions on the TSSD GI:s

The E75 would probably go at 6 miles an hour and break down every ten minutes (if it didn't run out of fuel first). 🤣

I haven't purchased any sets from Mars yet, but from some of the photos I've seen, the figures don’t look that great. The Mars figures have either a ton of flashing from the molds or the figures partially stick to the molds causing areas such as the faces to split apart at the seams. Have you experienced this with any of the Mars WW2 figures?

How well do the TSSD US Greatcoats mix with the Mars Greatcoats in color and size?
