So stupid they’re doing this. There shouldn’t be any moderation. It’s an adult players game. Again. If we own nothing they shouldn’t be able to charge us money for skins etc…

The chat add-on is a great idea until MS installs a keylogger in the Windows OS, which they have announced they will be doing soon.

A "simple algorithm" makes me think it doesn't ensure the "coded" version of your message doesn't contain forbidden words. In theory, you could end up getting yourself banned and not even realizing you said a bad word, since the coded version of what you said is never visible to you. For example, the word "hemp" after the algorithm is applied becomes "fuck"

Freedom of speech does not apply in private property or live service video games. You own the video game, but you are renting their server. Hence they can kick you off the server.
