@@VirginMostPowerfull it’s actually Baphomet! The original photo has them sitting in the middle of women who offer flowers. It’s actually one of my favorite pieces of art. I like to use them in some of my work and on my socials because they represent the good and the evil, above and below. There is more nuance than someone being good or bad, there is usually both

@@wizardsweiner I see you're trying to represent both good and evil which is balance, however Baphomet is clearly evil right, it's another name for Satan. I am also interested in the idea of balance and duality although I rather emphasize what's ultimately good in humanity not evil. I've spoken to many people who are interested in occult who have mental issues and it seems to be a recurring theme. After all, health including mental health is opposed to evil.

My faith or lack thereof has nothing to do with my mental health. I’d also appreciate it if you didn’t just jump into the conversation swinging your personal virtue around like you’re better than people who don’t have a faith in god anymore or at all.

@@wizardsweiner I did not mean to offend, I'm speaking as a former occultist who's experienced mental health issues myself and seen them around me in those circles, I had general anxiety disorder notably. But that all disappeared when I became Christian and ultimately Roman Catholic. So certain illnesses are caused by spirits or at least exacerbated by them (not all illnesses), I don't think you should have a limited mindset about how to heal your mind and I say this with love brother. Since I'm also a psychology student at university I've been going through many articles showcasing that religion actually does help mental health. In fact certain therapies like mindfulness meditation are just rip offs of religion. I found that people who have deep seated faith (termed intrinsic religiosity) have better psychological flexibility especially when suffering, lower anxiety levels, lower depression levels, and a well situated locus of control. Among others. This doesn't mean being religious solves everything, but Carl Jung famously said that the Catholic Church was ahead of him on therapy notably because of confession, and that he would be out of a job if everyone just went to Church. Baphomet, I verified, was originally an evil figure. First in the 11th century after Jesus-Christ was it understood as an idol, then during the trials of the Templars in the 14th century after Jesus-Christ it was seen as an evil idol again. And only in the 19th century did Occultists rebrand it as a symbol of equality between elements. Nonetheless the satanic temple uses it as its mascot figure, implying it is satanic even if understood atheistically by many.
