I always find it funny when a games entire story is basically just “main character was doing a thing, gets interrupted, goes on an entire adventure reshaping the world around them, finishes said adventure, then goes back to doing the thing, acting like nothing ever changed and ignoring everything that had just happened to them.”
He does as when looking at the sewer holes it shows that at the end his home is about a 20 second run to the right and in the game we see stray go right
There's a great video explaining that his friends are just a 20 second walk to the right, which is exactly the direction Stray goes in the end. Here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tEOEczZQHbo.htmlsi=rQmVk_q4YzP0QQW0
He almost certainly does. The game starts in a location that's very close to where the game ends. Unless the other cats stopped hanging out in that area for some reason, he'll definitely see his friends.
Prety sure he’s fine. The last shot with Cat looking back pans to show an electrical panel sparking. Which, I took to imply that B/12 managed to upload himself into the Cities Mainframe.
@Therattiestrat (spoilers for game lore for anyone else reading this) The zurks are giant bacteria that were designed to eat the buildup of trash in the lower levels because there was no where else to put it. Most of them died off when the dome opened due to the fact that UV is lethal to them, and I doubt they had the intelligence to mess with the dome's systems. So I'm pretty sure that the panel at the end was supposed to be b-12 surviving in the system, watching over the robots as they make their first steps outside.
I watched a video where someone found if stray got home and he said that strays home is about a 20 second run to the right of the ending and we can see stray runs that way so after that its easy to imagine stray reuniting with his cat friends
honestly the events of this game just make me wonder how sapient the cat is. by all rights, there are a LOT of things going on in this game that i would not expect a cat to do or understand.
We need a sequal of stray. I’m not saying something that happens at the end because of spoilers but judging by the ending there was a small part that might have referenced a sequal
You know, I think that Stray is one of those games that don’t need a sequel. You can tell what happened afterwards by yourself. And I like it to be honest.
@@Meteor_555 it's like Wall e. A animated movie that doesn't need the sequel but the community/fandom still wants such as special, TV show adaptation for Disney plus and etc that could help continue the story. I know this sound off topic but for Stray it's up to the dev for future content
It's hard to do a sequel. For starters, it would be ridiculous if the same cat somehow gets separated from his friends again. A different cat would have to be the main character, likely one from a different group of cats. And how would this cat affect the world? Maybe it would close the dome for whatever reason.
I appreciate this one in particular. When the game came out on PS+ I got a few minutes into the game where the cat gets chased by the bug things and I got got and so i freaked out and had to turn it off and never played again
